I already pre ordered Shana Season 2 but I'm ready to cancel if Funi reveals they don't have the original cast. That show had a awesome dub and it along with Black Lagoon need their original casts back or else I will likely not buy them and I know a few people out there thinking the same thing.
And now you know why Funimation hesitated on continue dealing with the Shakugan no Shana series.
It wasn't that they hesitated. but rather because of the Geneon issues with goiing under it held up alot of titles they had rights too.

But isn't FUNimation blocked from Blu-ray releases of Kadokawa products for this calender year? And wouldn't that include December? If anything, it would be delayed until January or February.

I asked RightStuf's Twitter account earlier today about the delay, and they told me that the date that's listed is just a placeholder date until they get an official announcement from FUNimation.
What's weird is that all other companies that are selling it - Amazon, Best Buy, etc. - still have the set listed for September 16th. The ONLY one who has a different listing is RightStuf.
Naturally I set a tweet to FUNimation themselves asking about the delay, AND OF COURSE got no reply.
I wish they'd just come out and tell us already....-_-

Well the only thing they can to is get the SW movie and release with season 2 at the same time in dec.
