Hi, im new to funimation and was wondering if there will be any additional seasons to some anime series i have. Freezing, Heavens lost property, sekirei, deadmans woderland and shuffle? If anyone has any ifo please let me know, cause these are all great series and i hope to see continuations of them and others. Thanks

Theres a general anime questions thread in the anime section. Also know Funimation does not control how many or how few seasons an anime has, they just dub the shows into english and release them for fans in the states.
But to answer your question, NO there is no information at this time of future seasons of set shows. Although I can tell you Shuffle is over, has been for a long time.

Actually, Heaven's Lost Property is getting a 3rd seaon for sure. Freezing, I haven't seen nor do I have any idea. Sekirei was left off with a cliffhanger and although a 3rd season was expected, no news of oine has been released. As for Deadman Wonderland, there is a possibility but at the moment there isn't enough material in the manga or something like that. The author recently had a baby and isn't going to continue anytime soon. http://www.funimation.com/deadman-wonderland/forum/funimation-shows/and-more/deadman-wonderland/season-2-possibility/3880021

However, DW was to have more episodes but it bombed during its run, so no. As for Hayate season 3, it got reduced to 12 although I would expect that it would have an additional season consisting of 12 episodes about 6 months after the first part since most 12-episode series noweadays are released in "batches" (i.e. there's a 12-13 episode season and a following one premiering anywhere from 6 months to a year after season 1 premiered). That's what Black Lagoon, Fate Zero, Vandread, Gantz, Sekirei, etc. did. It's an efficient way to produce episodes.

That's a damn shame. DW deserves a second season. And I don't see any reason why it would bomb at all. It's a good series except for the fact that it's a little too short. 12 eps just wasn't enough for it IMO.

Domayv: In most recent cases, split cour shows are announced ahead of time. I haven't heard anything indicating the new Hayate is as such.
Who knows....

That's your opinion. Many people enjoyed it.

Bashing other people's tastes/flouting your own is a pointless exercise.
Anyways, back to the OP: If you're in the dark about a series, start with Wikipedia. It'll generally tell you how many seasons/series/OVAs/movies were made of each series. It's not the most up to date on news but the odd time you'll find an entry that a company plans another season. Then if you look in the footnotes, chances are you'll find decent news sites for the latest news and rumours.
Animenewsnetwork is another site you can check out.
There are 51 chapters of the Deadman Wonderland manga and the anime only covers the first 21 chapters. There's plenty to make another 12 episodes. However, like Domayv said. The anime bombed in Japan with the video sales only in the hundreds for each volume.
The Freezing anime also didn't do well in Japan. The video sales were just average for that one.
Sekirei has a good chance (strong video sales). They are probably just waiting for the manga to end.
