Re: Theater Roll Outs

Saw Eva 1.01 in a local theater, made a 3 hour road trip to see Summer Wars, i missed the local showing. Eva 2.0 didn't show in the DC area. That or i missed all the advertising. I hope more Anime hits theaters more, certainly beats the Set up i got here at home. The more tickets the sell the better chance they'll put more out.

Re: Theater Roll Outs

I just read the news that Trigun: Badlands Rumble will see a theater release in summer 2011. kitty

I don't think that I've heard of the movie distributor though. Eleven Arts was it? Anyone have any idea on what kind of reach they have around the country? At this point I'm just praying that it will see a release in my area. I'm guessing that a premier at Otakon 2011 is asking too much but I at least hope that it will see more then a handful of releases along the east coast. Trigun was one of the first series that I began collecting. I'm so excited to see it Exclamation Mark

Re: Theater Roll Outs

I try to get to as many theatrical releases as I can, though sometimes it depends on whether or not I can time my trips to NYC right. I did see Summer Wars on the big screen and it really enhances the experience, I think. I am hoping to catch Redline or the Trigun movie in a theater.
