I don't see it getting licensed any time soon, at least not immediately, and I don't think it would get much of a screening past a showing at a drafthouse theater (Alamo Drafthouse for example). I'd love it licensed too, but it's not something they'd put high on priority if they considered it.

Actually, someone asked about the movie at Katsucon, and the response was "don't know." It's jumping the gun at this point, really, and unlike things like the FMA movie which get licensed almost a month or two after they come out in Japan, Negima doesn't have that luxury because the fanbase isn't that big. Also, it was released as an OAD with the manga, and licensing for that may be a different thing entirely (although there may be a home video release later on). The best we can do is wait and see if it gets picked up, maybe as a package deal with the other OAD series. I'm not holding my breath for an announcement as of now.
