Contest: It's a very, very MADHOUSE world

There's still anime on my shelf, and they all happen to be part of FUNimation's Anime Classic line and all happen to be from Studio MADHOUSE heart.

Claymore - the classic tale of human and monster
Chobits - the classic tale of human and robot
Trigun - the classic tale of humanoid typhoon and doughnut

Up for the winning:
Claymore - complete series - classic - DVD
Chobits - complete series - classic - Blu-ray
Trigun - complete series - classic DVD

To enter this contest, please reply to this thread with your answer to the following question by November 17, 2011 at 5:00 p.m. CST:

If you were stranded on a desert island LOST style and your portable DVD player had only enough juice to play one more anime series, which one would you play? Let's assume that the series is 26 episodes or less. You need to be useful to the rest of the surviving plane-crash passengers and not holed up in your lean-to watching DBZ.

This contest is only open to U.S. residents that are at least 18-years-of-age upon entry. You may only enter this contest once.

Click for Official Rules.

Winner List:

  1. StringerC2 - Trigun
  2. ShiroTheRed - Chobits
  3. rosebrook - Claymore

[Note] Winners are randomly chosen using a list randomizer. If the first chosen winner does not meet the contest requirements, then the next user on the list is chosen.

I would watch XXXHolic. It gets me through good days&bad ones. Especially since I'd be stuck on a desert island. Watching XXXHolic would also help me block out the fact that my wheelchair is stuck in the sand. lol

Strike Witches. Never had to think twice about what would be the last thing I could ever watch.

I would like the Claymore DVD please!

I think I would watch Speed Grapher. I'm not really sure why. Maybe I just want to watch something different.

BoBoBo-Bo Bo-BoBo. Not all of it, only 26 random episodes. Because if I'm crashing on an island LOST-style, that implies that everyone involved will go crazy LOST-style, as well. And if I'm going insane, I'm going insane laughing like a sociopathic BEAST. (╯°□°)╯︵ ┻━┻

Also, if I should happen to win, I would very much appreciate the Trigun DVDs. <3

Hmm that's a tough one... I would have to default to FLCL because of my obsession with the pillows, but knowing me I would have an emergency pack of pillows goodness... wink So, considering that the short series I would have to go with would be Cowboy Bebop... It's a classic, and out of the short 26 episode series I've seen/own it's my favorite...

Oh, and Trigun please... smile
