I would be the under-leveled Wave-Master (say like level 25 and everyone else is going in at right around level 30 or higher) without any super expensive equipment who joins up with a group of random people from the internet, dies a few times in the process but helps defeat the Dragon King after a ten minute fight.
If it has a plot then I have something to say about it!
Let's see. I would possibly be level 26, on the verge of 27 Rouge. This leaves me the possibility of leveling up should I fail to defeat the Dragon the first time (which is more than likely in my case). I'm sure there would be a lot of running around, dodging very few attacks (as this is how I normally play -.-), but otherwise landing some decent blows from time to time. Tons of stat boosters would be needed in my case, just enough to raise defense and accuracy. Grinding strength isn't what I normally do.
More dodging, more boosting before a true assault occurs on my behalf. Lots of shouting on my part, more attacks on the king's. But finally--
The power goes out!! T.T

My Game Name: Koshin
Type: Shadow Wave-Master
Lvl : 28
HP : 7678
SP : 6895
Weapons: Staff of the Demon Lords Eye (Shadow type)
Spells : Shadow Nova, Unholy Blood Bolt, Hells Clutch
I challenge the Dragon King to battle, he attacks without warning with his Acid spit for 400 HP as I rolled out of the way. My staff points forward focusing my energy on an Unholy blood bolt that hits him for 1500hp, raising my staff in time to block his claw swipe that knocks me back into the wall for 600hp. The dragons kings tail came sweeping from the left knocking me into the sky for 700hp but while up there I cast Blood bolt inferno rain sending burning blood bolts raining onto the dragon king 3 managed to hit him for 1500 a piece. Rolling around to avoid him he lets out a great bellow causing a firewall to erupt from the ground. His acid spit came flying through the inferno wall landing a direct hit on my for 3500HP. Little did he know I had been drawing with my staff while dodging him and taking a beating. I raised my staff and hit the ground yelling “HELL’S CLUTCH” The design on the floor lit up and demon hands came up restraining the Dragon king, I touched my staff to his forehead and yelled “DEMISE” as a shadow enveloped the Dragon king Destroying the last of his Life points mine dropped to 3hp for it takes a great amount to summon the spell. And thus I obtained the Twilight Dragon Gauntlet that Allows me to use the Twilight Dragon Armor.

I will...never be just a memmory.
I would have a class of a Defender,White Mage that can all so do black magic, and the last one will be a warrior! I will tell my Defender to Provoke it to get it attention and then my White Mage would lower it defenses and poison it to lower it health! My Defender will probauly be a little weak so I will heal him all the way!He is a Level 25 Defender!I will all so ask my White Mage friend that is level 25 to buff his denfenses,so he can attain more damage so we can deafeat the Dragon King! While the Dragon King is distracted again I the warrior will a item that will tell us his weakness and strong points! After all the poison and his defenses is weak! The Warrior and the Defender will attack it,while the white mage will stand back for healing and make our offense and defense better! After a long brutal hits and heals we will defeat the king! After he is very weak.I ask our team can we do our powerful attack! So we gathered all our energy into me and we unleashed it!It was so bright and glorious, that the blast could have been heard throught out cites.A lot of people was watching us and we didn't even realized it!After the smoke cleared we seen the Dragon King on one leg!We were shocked that he was still standing! We were about to do one last blast and realised that he was dead but not out!He was dead and his eyes was completly white. But his body didn't want to give up.So the battle was over and decide to bury the Dragon King some where that was peaceful and decided to not to get any of the items, that was on him!We decided to bury anything that was on him with him in his coffin. We went back to get the prize that we won from the Dragon King!We all got new armor, weapons, and items for our efforts! We made new friends, after the battle and after months, went by.We made a huge clan called the Peace Walkers!
Despite being a level 30 creature, this boss packs a serious amount of HP. Not only that, but it has a constant regen spell cast on it which heals a whopping 50 HP per second. Even if you managed to deal a decent amount of DPS on this boss, it's SP is off the charts meaning that it can cast any spell or ability from it's repertoire at any time and not have to worry much about running out of SP. This can mean pretty much anything coming your way (if you chose frost resistant armor it'll use a flam spell for double damage, if you choose lightning protection it'll throw down an earth spell to deal major hurt, etc).
This is not a creature you can take on by yourself, especially since the player level is capped at 30.
The best strategy is to round up a team of Barrier Battlers (probably around 20). Have them constantly cast Elemental Protection spells (luckily The World allows multiple protection spells on at once with no downsides except that the effects drain out quicker). If you have the time, they might want to also cast some Defense buffs, but I doubt you'll be able to find the time (elemental attacks are your main priority as Barrier Battlers). Don't forget to stack up on SP potions, you'll need them.
Next up is the need for healers; the Shift Singer class is the way to go. I would recommend no less than 20 of these healing beasts. Focus completely on healing OTHER party members, particularly the ones dealing the damage. Unfortunately, resurrection spells cost too much SP to cast, so if a member falls there is nothing you can do about but hope they had a Life Shift Doll on them (but since that was a one-time event item, I doubt you would want to use those if you even have one). In any case, if the boss uses the Death Swipe ability, HEAL, HEAL, HEAL. The melee fighters will die extremely quickly if you do nothing. Just keep healing. Again, as a magic-user, you will need to stack up on SP potions.
Finally, the remaining 10 spots of your party (since there is a 50 member limit) should consist of Big Bangs. Although Sneaks can deal more DPS, they will NOT survive the ferocious attacks. Big Bangs have pretty good DPS, but their main focus in this battle is to survive. If any of these fall, your chance of winning will drop to almost 0. The Bane Bash skill will probably be the most efficient to use here since it can slow down the boss's cast time. Though, if you're in a pinch the Daring Drop ability might save your HP long enough for enough healing.
Regardless, this fight will take a ton of time... and a ton of luck. The fight is definitely worth it for the loot though. Unfortunately, since there is only one item (and the boss can only be killed once before the event is over), you might want to turn on your allies after the fight (if you manage that long). The Barrier Battlers probably have the best chance at succeeding, but I think their skills are pretty great. Regardless, once you're the last one standing, the Liminality Brace is yours.
I'll be waiting.
I would definitely go at it with a party of my best friends! Most likely under leveled at around 25 each of us.
While Ricardo slashes away at it on a Blade master, Mandi casts rig geam and rig seam on us to recover our hp and mp continously on her wavemaster, and I'll sneak around and do critical hit's from behind on my blade master. Since we aren't up to his level we will have a tough time penetrating it's defenses, but after a few armor breaking moves from the blade master our damage per second will triple! He won't know what hit him! In the end he will drop a golden trophy for each of us, which can be sold off to NPC's around Mac Anu for a lot of money, or could be displayed in your virtual reality house/guild base. And inside the mysterious shiny treasure box laid a Baby grunty!! Which we would all share and feed lots of Twilight onions!
Waking up from a very homework oriented friday, I slowly log into "The World".Even though I am a bit groggy with my adept rogue twin blades glistening off my avatar's image. I discover a Instant message soon pops out telling me I should Solo the new boss on the board. Silently i have an urge of adrenaline hit me as my face flushes with excitement. This fight has just the right moment for me to prove to myself just how useful an Adept Rogue can be. Quickly I enter the Chaos gate making sure i have enough potions for my health and skill points just in case things get heavy. The keywords are simply entered from how I remember them.
The next thing I notice is a huge cave staring back at me. Streamed CGI effects make the cave look almost real aside from the fact that I can feel the M2D on my head. Monsters in this area seem to be lacking as I quickly run inside the cave. Than when I am about to hit the final room a huge brown dragon looks down on me. My eyes just stare in its wonder with its big tenacious claws streaming down on the M2D screen. It does seem however that I am not alone as a party in front of me with three people are slashing and slicing up the dragon with little damage done each hit. I decide to join the action as i enter the Battle area. The 1st person is a blademaster with a delicate silver sword. Standing right next to him is a girl with a yellow steam gun which i have never seen before. Finally the last guy is a wavemaster with little features deeming them as a random generated character. Being with these generic characters I feel a tad unique with my Blue long Trench coat that works as a cape, as well as a top hat demonstrating my gentleman behavior.
I pull out my twin blades and storm at the Dragon giving a quick slice onto his head, as i make a giant jump. The dragon seems to be little affected at this hit and swings in a circle hitting the Blademaster and I. My HP seems to have gone down by a quarter health just from his Area of Effect attack. The cleric manages to use Ol Repth onto the Blademaster curing his HP to full. My Health Points being damaged, I decide to use a Repth spell on myself.
"Stacotto" My avatar screams out as he charges the Dragon and with fluid motion strikes once, slashes twice and ends with a jump attack. Just as I feared a small damage amount. Well in times like this I resort to magic. I pull out my spell croll and my avatar says "Van Grou" At the moment of this resolution, a giant tornado hits the dragon at full force. Again the damage seemed to be minimal. The Steam gunner to my side sent a large blast with her sword shaped gun. It didnt do much damage though it did blow the dragon back to the invisible barrier in its room causing it damage in the battle area. Realizing that the barrier causes it a little more damage than our attacks i know the perfect answer. I put my spell scroll back into my inventory to pull out a large two handed sword. As soon as i pulled out my sword the dragon launched and used a move I haven't seen before launching the wave-master into the air and slamming its claws onto the wave-master's back. It was an instant KO for the dragon. Only now did i dare look at his name, it said he was the Dragon King. Well this appears to be the boss on the board.
Charging my sword I allowed the two remaining warriors in the party fend off the dragon's attacks. The Blademaster quickly charged the dragon and dealt two slashes one vertical and one horizontal. It seemed to do some damage but not as much as I was hoping for. At my side the Steam Gunner than launched a barrage of gun shots, than charged and slashed with her sword. This new physical impact seemed to send the dragon back into the barrier damaging it. My sword was now finally able slice. I unleashed the sword's energy right into the Dragon. Getting hit into the blast the Dragon once again fell into the barrier getting serious damage not only from my charged hit but also from the barrier. Sensing this newfound strategy the Dragon King flew into the air and landed onto the steam gunner. Luckily the Steam gunner was not KO'd, but had 1/4 of her HP remaining.
A sword hitting onto the dragon told me the blademaster saw the hit and was aiming to distract the Dragon King. To no avail the dragon's tail almost instantaneously hit the Blademaster, making him hit the barrier. I took this as an opportunity and rushed the dragon doing a overhead jump attack and quickly rolling under the dragon after landing to do a vertical slash while getting up. After getting up i jumped back from the dragon and started charging my sword once again. Looking around it seemed the Blade Brandier was getting back up to attack the dragon. Stopping in his tracks the Dragon King did another Area of Effect move and KO'd the steam gunner. There were only me and the Blademaster left against this giant monstrosity of a dragon. I saw once again the Blademaster did a charge against the dragon, but this time the sword he was carrying did a flurry of forward slashes and slices against the Dragon King. He did a backflip after his rush to get out of the way of any instantaneous attacks. Unluckily the Dragon King blew fire at the Blade Brandier bringing him to 1/4th HP. It was then I decided to unleash my sword's power. It hit him full blast and barreled the Dragon King into the Barrier damaging him. I followed my blast with a charge and a double vertical slash up and than down. The dragon was almost defeated I could tell from his anger at the slashes. Holding up my sword in a defensive position I could tell a big attack was coming. The Dragon King flew up into the air and did a barrel rolling movement while he covered himself in fire. His Impact on the ground created a chasm of fire everywhere and unfortunately KO'd the Blademaster. There was only me and this tyrant of a dragon.
I decided that if I wanted to go one on one with this dragon I would need speed. Placing my two handed sword into my inventory I took out the adept rogue's main weapon, his twin swords. I jumped over his tail as it tried to strike me, landed and caused three vertical slashes and three horizontal slashes til i could see a blue aura forming around him. It made me slightly grin over my sweated red face. Instantly I charged the dragon when my avatar screamed "Whirlwind Strike" I Hit the dragon up into the air and jumped higher than I saw my avatar ever jump and slammed a giant impact hurtling slash onto the back of the Dragon's Wings. With his height, and weight the form of his fall made his end a very relieving one. Before cheering for my kill of a triumph i breathed a small sigh of relief, happy that i was able to finally solo a beast at a caliber of this.
The strange thing is the drop I got from this Dragon was an item I have never heard before. Book of Iron? I quickly took this item and used it. My character's lvl was increased by five. I was now lvl 30! It made me quite happy to have gained six levels from this adventure, one from the dragon and five from its item. I went out and looked at its hoard in the last room. It was full of really rare items that were unfortunately for blademasters and some for wave-masters. Why is it my luck that every time I get good items its for neither of my job weapons I can use? I just decided to take the God grunty food and get out of the dungeon feeling happy about my accomplishment using a sprite ocarina.
I would walk ever so slowly up to him and when he lowers his head to get a good look at his unassuming opponent, I yell BOO! He drops dead of a heart attack and I win. Hahaha

The Dragon Kings stands as tall as a two story building, red scales reflecting the light from the torches perched on the castle walls. Eyes darker than a black hole bore into us as we entered the monster's liar. I'm a Flick Reaper clad in white, blue elemental wave markings spread over my bare arms. I gripped the handle to my giant scythe. To my right is my companion and friend, a Blade Brandier dressed in black light armor. I leveled up to 26 while my friend was a strong level 31. We don't make a move. Neither does the Dragon King. It's a stand still.
"Ready?" I say. He nods only once and grips the handle of his sword.
With a battle cry that bounces off the stone walls, I charge forward. The Dragon King lunges, a heavy sharp claw looms towards me. I dodge, the rush of wind almost knocking me down to my feet but I press forward. I know I'm at a disadvantage since as a Flick Reaper I'm not too strong against long-distanced attacks. I have to move in close. The beast roars, head swerving away from me. It opens its' mouth wide and flame bursts out in a wide spread.
"Silo!" I cry out, knowing the monster was targeting him.
"Focus Rein!" He yells back. I pause for half a second before I nod. With my grip secured, I swing away at the monster's leg.
It cries out in pain and it manages to backhand me. I tumble across the ground, steadying myself before I stop. With another shout, I lunge forward, dodging another swipe of its' arm. I scurry past the arm, raise my weapon and slash the underside belly of the beast. Another roar makes the castle tremble. I've dealt about 200HP of damage and I knew we weren't even putting a dent to that monsters' HP. We were waiting.
And we didn't wait long. As I kept dodging and attacking whenever I got close, the Dragon King slammed down its' front claws. The castle rocked and I fell backwards. A blue glow appeared around its' body, enveloping the beast in magic. It was starting its' counter attack.
A physical tolerant spell.
"Dek Vrov!" Silo shouts. The barrier that had shaped to fit around the Dragon's King body faded. Silo shouted more weakening spells, each one reducing the damage of its stronger elemental attacks while he simultaneously casts strengthening spells on me.
"Ready!" He shouts from somewhere on the other side of the beast.
"Let's do it!" I cry out, charging forward. Silo's on the offensive now. His attacks were stronger than mine but so were mine now, thanks to his spells. Yet, even with the Dragon King now weakened, it still takes a while before we finally slay the monster. It did put up a great fight, wounding me several times to the brink of death before I could cure myself. With one last, mournful cry, the Dragon King is finally defeated. The body glows gold and disperses into tiny millions of golden orbs that float away. In the middle of the now spacious castle room is the treasure chest; the chest that contains the rarest accessory of The World.
We're both beaten and battered and I use the long staff of my scythe as support to walk over to the chest. Silo is beside me. We share a glance and open the chest.
He pulls out a pair of glasses. Not just ordinary glasses. These glasses are /special/.
These glasses have a mustache attached to it.
We both stare at it. Speechless. Until Silo puts it on his face. Then I can't stop laughing. It hurts my side but he looks too ridiculous. Silo starts laughing too and the castle that was previously filled with out battle cries were now filled with our laughter.
"All that for a pair of comedic glasses?" I say, plopping down to the cold floor. Silo grins and holds out his hand for me.
"At least we know The World has a sense of humor." I grin and grab his hand. "I know a few Treasure Hunters who would trade pretty sweet weapons for this thing."
"Right." I say with a nod, exiting the castle with another wonderful memory by playing The World.
After a Valentine's Day gone wrong I decided to log into "The World" to help clear my mind. As I walked through the root town I listened to all the people chatting away. I had heard one player mention a special event with an insanely powerful boss. Upon hearing more I discovered the event was called "A Wild Dragon King Appears." I had quickly gathered items I would surely need. Then glancing at my stats I paused at my level. 20. "Could I possibly have a chance??" I had thought. I then scanned my member addresses, and as I scanned the list I managed to find the name I wanted. The lucky partner was Anomaly, a spell casting female. Anomaly had responded to the invite, "Oh... The great Angelus the Azure Fate is online today?? Something big must be up yea??" I quickly shot back with a counter remark. After meeting Anomaly in town I quickly explained the scenario and sounding pleased she agreed to help me.
Once we entered the area no sign of any sound was present. Reaching for my dual blades I walked forward with Anomaly. No later than 5 minutes of walking did the Dragon King appear. Glancing at the beast I sprinted around to its back as Anomaly assaulted the King with a barrage of magic. When I had reached the back I glanced at the creatures HP bar, and I was shocked to see the magical assault did little to no damage. With fear in my chest I swung both blades at the Dragon King, and the King let out a deafening roar I quickly jumped back glancing at the foes HP. After 15 minutes of Anomaly's barrage its health was at 7,896/9,999. Just as I thought we had a chance the angered King spun around and swung his heavy arm, and as the Kings claws connected with me I was slammed into the wall of the arena. My HP bar flashed red out of my 5,466 Hit Points only 387 remained. I quickly downed some HP supplements and returned to the battle. Observing the signs of the Boss I had quickly learned some tricks to stay alive. I shouted to Anomaly at this point, "Hey! You holding up Good?! We've been at this for a good 36 minutes!" The Dragon King was almost overthrown Last I had seen Its HP was at 1,654/9,999. I knew the final stretch was just ahead when suddenly The Dragon King let a powerful blast of White Fire out across the area. Acting quickly I had just managed to dive behind it, however Anomaly had been caught in the dead center of the attack and perished. I knew i would have to end this alone now.
As I tore way at the monster's back it managed to swing its massive hand at me again. This had sent me flying across the arena and I had no more mean to restore my health. The Dragon King's HP read at 146 points while my HP read at 85 points. For a split second time had seemed frozen as I stared down the mighty foe. Rising to my feet I uttered out "Fate... That's what brought me to you oh great Dragon King, and fate is what will determine our ending to this duel." Letting out a roar I charged at the Dragon King. At the same time it shot a ball of fire out to the floor and as the sphere hit the floor a wave of fire rushed at me. I quickly ran up the wall and jumped off the wall over the King's head. Landing on his head I shoved my blades into its head and ran down The King's back. Once finished I saw the Dragon King's HP bar read 0/9,999. Letting out a huge sigh i thought to myself "Seems as though fate needs me here in "The World" after all eh?" I then claimed my rewards a large sum of gold and The King's Remnants, a special pair of blades resembling the Dragon King's claws. Raising them with pride I decided to return to the root and share my glory at the tavern with my fellow players.
