This is a bit upsetting for me, i been Anime for since year 2002 or there about, I just heard about Funimation a short time ago, So i started watching it on the Verizon/Fios tv system, that was showing on my cable but, now that some clown putted the plug on my Favorite programs i love to see, it leave me hanging now.. I find a web site that does have Anime programs. ( its does not have all of Funimation shows, but most of them [ http:www.rentAnime.com] I have remebership there, its better then nothing) i hope make the web site to upset, I used to post here, years ago, just before they change the formate on me. I did post Anime programs on Kyo Kara Moah! season 1 and 2. and hoping that season 3 was coming out real soon. I am still waiting. Its only in yapanese right now..its not in Enghish verson yet!!
Funimation has to get it's act together in terms of scheduling and programming.
FYI FUNimation (Entertainment) does not run the FUNimation Channel, OlympuSAT does.
Either way, somebody is responsible for the programming and it isn't helping with the viewership. If not funimation, they should be aware of how haphazard it is and demand better.
I don't have a Twiter/Facebook account, so perhaps one of you can post this so the Funichannel people see it (or a mod points it out to them, or something):
It appears that FiOS is now trying to play the 'Cost vs. Viewership' card rather than the 'No one watched' excuse. As you know that argument can quickly turn people against a company or platform, depending on who the viewer sides with. Now it could be true that Funichannel wanted a whole lot of money and Verizon said no way. That's something the general public will never know since business discussions like that are (rightfully) private.
However, since Funichannel quickly came out and admitted they were blindsided by the decision, I still believe that most of the blame belongs to Verizon and not you. This new reason FiOS is giving could turn those tables. You may want to let the FiOS viewers know a little bit more of what happened during negotiations (or if any even took place).
2 weeks after FiOS pulled the plug on the Funimation Channel, the viewers are STILL peppering Verizon with complaints. I realize that you have to maintain a 'good' relationship with Verizon (since they really are the 'customer'), but you may need to apply additional pressure with some kind of public statement as to what happened.
I actually started watching tv again after months of stress from school. The first chanel I wanted to see was Funimation. When I saw it wasnt there it upset me very much. Its sad because now I have no interest in watching FIOS. Before thee only reason I liked fios was because of funimation. Now that its gone I'm thinking of switching.
I'm soooooooooo upset! I move out of my parents house, moved into a camper just next to my parents house, and I didn't have a working TV for a few weeks and I was planing to watch funimation to catch up on my anime shows and I just got my TV working and found out its not there! How am I going to see my shows now? I could use a computer but I don't have one right now! Right now I'm just using my iPod.

Same here! Funimation was all I watched! I watched other channels at time but I mostly watched funimation. Far as I know there are no other anime channels. That means every Saturday I have to watch adultswim to see some shows at like 1:00 in the morning!
Verizon is trying to spin the situation again. This time it's a couple of tweets that makes it look like Funimation didn't want to negotiate with them about the service and/or a premium option.
Since they seem to be throwing the first stone, Funichannel may want to provide some more detail to us faithful. I still believe Funichannel did their best, but this may start to sway public sentiment to Verizon's side.
Most of the Tweets I see to FiOSTV are in regards to Funimation. If you have a Twitter account, keep asking about the channel. One day they'll get the hint and add it back.

I believe if your trying to get Verzon's attention via their forums you should use this...

Everyone should post a comment and express your feelings...
It's been marked as Acknowledged so maybe perhaps there might be some hope...after all it only took the Tennis channel 3 months to get restored Q_Q
