FUNimation On-Demand on Comcast/Xfinity Thread

Since some members have been using a thread about Verizon FiOS' VOD service, here is a thread about FUNimation On-Demend service on Comcast/Xfinity. Updates and news about the FUNimation On-Demend service on Comcast/Xfinity will be made here.

About the free section being moved to the Platinum section:

UPDATE (October 26th):

On the FUNimation Channel's Facebook page, there is a poll asking, "Would you pay $6.99 for over 40 hours of anime a month?"

From what I hear the free funimation on demand is being cancelled as of the 31 of this month and if you want to access more anime on demand you now have to use the platinum setting in which you will end up paying a buck per viewing per episode. Yeah I can tell you I won't be doing that if that is the way they want to do things from now on. I'm already over paying for my cable service.

Well I already pay $100+ for cable/internet and don't really want o pay another $6.99 unless I get the full channel. Heck I only watched about half the anime uploaded anyway. I am sad this was the last source of anime on t.v. for me and after all these years i is now gone. angry crying angry

Is it really going away? Oh no. I wish they could've at least finished the series that seemed to be near their end - instead of starting new series.
FOD was the way I previewed series- before deciding to buy. Guess I could do that online, but... it's not the same.

And the majority of the series they have now I don't care for.

(Sadness)

It is not going away, Comcast just reduced the number of hours FUNimation Channel VOD can have.

I feel your pain same thing here with me.They move every show I was waiting for to come up on for free waiting for the next Ouran High School Host Club or My Bride is a Mermaid and Fruits Basket angry but they move them onto Plantium Funimation to pay for them for a 1.00 or .99 cent.I'm not going to pay for them.FORGET IT.

I remember one time on Comcast on demand for anime they used to have Anime Selects on there playing old animes of Wedding Peach and Marmalade boy on there. I wish those two came back on again.

They got the next stuff on demand for Funimation for free. They did some changes they have a new anime on there Hell Girl the first three episodes and it fine. Also it got the next Chrome Shelled Regios and Excel Saga I was watching. I notice some how on the Funimation Plantium they took some things out of there and on the Iconic Anime they only have is Ouran High School Host Club episodes on there left. They took the Fruits Basket out of the Iconic Anime from there. They should bring it back on Funimation for free.
