Will be keeping a close eye on this thread.
I'm just wondering what the deal is with the Funimation channel. I purposely switched my cable to fios to get it and it's been playing the same shows and same episodes for more than a week. I don't mind that there's no day to day set schedule. I actually like that because then you can see a wide variety of shows, but only if they stop running the same episodes every day!! Am I the only one annoyed by this?
I have Comcast and they only have Funimation OnDemand - which I am thankful for since there is a serious lack of anime on network t.v I just wish they had some of their newer shows for free. I don't mind a few ads if that is the way to make it happen
Due to results from a poll on their Facebook page, the FUNimation Channel will air an 18 episode "Black Butler" marathon on June 18th starting at 9pm eastern.
So season 2 of Birdy was added I did not know this >.>;
I wish I had the full channel. FUNimation OnDemand took away lots of shows this week, some were removed way before time.
Slayers Evolution-R has been removed from schedule, its last airing was October 5th.
Grrrrr all of this great stuff while moving all the OnDemand stuff to Platinum at$1 an episode. Gonna miss My Bride is a Mermaid
But I'll be getting Slayers S4 and S5 in Dec anyway
I would not mind Comcast charging extra each month for a Funimation channel, but I'm not going to pay for each and every episode separately. I use the on demand channel to see if I like a series, and if I do I go out and buy it. This crap with everything being moved to the pay only channel, some even before the series finished, really irritated (trying to stay clean here) me. I've already canceled some pre-orders I had and will just borrow a friends to watch instead of buying my own.
