FUNi acquires 'Full Metal Alchemist: The Star of Milos'
During their panel at Anime Central, FUNimation announced that they acquired the license for Full Metal Alchemist: The Star of Milos.
That's cool. Even though it really wasn't surprising that Funimation would get the film.

It's definitely not surprising news, but I'm still happy to hear it.
Well, guess I better suck it up and watch the rest of Brotherhood, so I can get myself ready for this. Oh, I am so gonna write a review on it...

Totally pumped up to see this one... a year from now. I can't complain, though. Animation looks sick and it'll be worth the wait to see it in the theater.

I will buy this when it comes out.
I kind of hope they get the OVAs and specials now.

This is the least shocking license announcement since Kai I think, heh.
But it is a good one, and I was a bit surprised they licensed it this early on.

I was just surprised they got it so early. They're really on the ball.
It does seem like, from the trailer, the movie's an extended action sequence, though. It sort of looks like the first episode of Brotherhood. Not that I wouldn't enjoy that. A lot of people expect a lot more from this franchise, though, with good reason. But the story's already over. So I don't mind some side story.
Can't wait to see this, psyched about the news.
