I really think they should ask the Japanese animators to make another season to dub. That would be great!
FUNimation only dubs things though, so I think we should send our voices to the japanese, not FUNimation, because FUNimation can only do so much.
When i found out the season was over also a few tears came out i wanted more Fruits Basket i need to know what happens and if your like me not much of a reader reading the monga is ugh! I really wanted MORE!
And if a TV man or person lady thing is reading this please please please make more Fruits Basket i need to know what happens to everyone in the anime.i mean you cant just end it as everyone is friends! who ends up with Tohru isit Kyo or Yuki!
Please tell me! As you can see the FANS LOVE the series we want and need more. I love this show so much i mean look at me im sitting here writting 3 paragraphs on why YOU need to make more episode and YOU are MOST likely not even reading it.

As much as I loved this series and was surprised how different it was from the manga (esp. with how the anime ended and the differences in some of the characters, dont worry, im not gonna post spoilers here) I don't think there'll be a season 2.
Now series have seen a somewhat "reboot" with anime series, such as how there are 2 Full Metal Alchemist series or the Kanon franchise/series, so if they went that route, then perhaps the new Fruits Basket would be a bit more darker than how the 1st anime was (for those who've read the manga, you'll prolly know wat I mean)
Also, I remember a few yrs back when there was a lot more outright support/petition from the U.S. fanbase for more Fruits Basket and at a few cons, they'd get fans to make i think paper cranes to show the series creator/anime director the demand for it. Of course, I also heard the anime director of the series (Akitaro Daichi) said that he was done with it/ended it the way he wanted to end it (course, I found it funny that he'd rather make a season 2 of Jubei-Chan than make more Fruits Basket, uhhh srsly?)
I bought netflix just a while ago and watched every episode. I loved it. I was crushed when I finished the last episode. But I loved the show.
I tried to sign the petition, but it wouldn't let me. I said I lot when I was signing... Like, there was this comments section, and I said that without this show, I'm dying.
I could try to remember all that I said in the comments section. But I don't remember, so, I'm just going to say this: I'm dying without this show. Dying.
If a second season is made, please let it be availible on this website, as well as on Netflix. Make it availible in the US and Canada and stuff. Make an English version with all of the same actors. Please! PLEASE!

The manga does tell the rest of this beautiful story. In fact I think it does a GREAT job of continuing and then ending the series.
