Just watching the first tastes of the English dub. Haven't even purchased the DVD/Blu-ray yet. (will on the 17th)
However, I might be harsh by saying that I'm glad that the Japanese Dub is included. I can kind of tell with this series
how much FUNimation must be hurting financially. Maybe it's just me, but this series tells me that they've cut back to
their core bare-bones.
The only reason I say this is because the voices sound very "Cheap" and "recycled".
It's not natural sounding at all, nor is it close to the Japanese Voice, which was pretty critical to making this particular
I'm usually very satisfied with English dubs, but for some reason (maybe it's because of how much I liked this one) this
dub just seemed to cast the voices to the top of the drawings instead of becoming the characters.
---FUNimation - you have done very good job matching voices to characters in the past. I'm just pointing out that this was
a miss. I might just "Get Used To" the voices. Nessa was probably the closest.
-.- I'm only watching Episode 1 and 2 so far. I plan to wait till the 17th to see the rest.
