    Mamoru Hosoda

Is there any chance of Funimation obtaining distribution rights of The Girl Who Leapt Through Time in North America. I really want to see it on blu ray. Please Funimation bring The Girl Who Leapt Through Time and other Mamoru Hosoda movies to blu ray. Thank You!

TGWLTT was already released in Bluray...just expect to pay a kings ransom if you can find a copy!
I'd love to see it re-released myself.

For what it's worth, I know from Mike McFarland's Facebook that he's well aware of TGWLTT, so if it's up to him in any capacity, it'll be among the things FUNi would like to license rescue I'm sure. He even worked up his own idea of casting apparently (though I doubt they'd do a secondary dub when the first is already good), saying he probably would have used Caitlin Glass for the lead.

There could be issues with the rights that are preventing them from getting it.

I think the dub they have now is pretty good! Just re-release it.
