I forgot my password. How do I reset it?

To reset your password, click on “Log In” at the very top of the page. In the section that drops down, click on “Forgot password?” Enter your email address in the box that appears and click on the “Request Username / Password Now” button. Then check your email for the reset password link. If you do not receive the second email within 10 minutes, please click on "Forgot password?" again and repeat the forgot password process.

What are the website and video player system requirements?

To watch streaming FUNimation.com videos on your computer, you will need:

  • Adobe Flash Player 10.0.32 or above
  • Internet Explorer 9.0 or above, Firefox 12.0 or above, Safari 6.0 or above, or Chrome
  • Microsoft Windows 7 or above, Macintosh OS X 10.7 Lion or above, or Linux
  • JavaScript and Cookies enabled
  • A broadband internet connection with a downstream of over 1Mbps for standard definition videos or at least 3 Mbps for high definition videos

How do I write a Show Review?

To write a Show Review, you must first have a free FUNimation.com account. Once you are logged into your account, visit the show site you are interested in and then click on the Reviews tab. Then click on the Write Review button. Complete all of the fields and rate the show. Click on the Publish button when you’re done. It may take a few minutes before your review appears on the site.

Please note that all reviews are subject to FUNimation.com’s Terms of Use. Any review can be edited or removed by FUNimation Staff without notice if the review is in violation.

How do I search?

To search, type your search terms in the search bar located in the site header at the top of any page, and either click next to the magnifying glass icon or hit the "Enter" key. You will be taken to a page of results for the terms you entered. You may filter your search results first by Web or by Image by clicking on the tabs. You can further filter these results by clicking on the links just beneath the Web and Image tabs - Shows, Videos, Products, Forum, and Blog. Search results are sorted by relevancy. If the search terms you have chosen pull too many results, you can narrow the results down by putting your search terms in quotes.

How do I add entire shows to my Queue?

You can do this in two ways - from any video thumbnail on the site and from your Queue page in your profile.

To add an entire show to your Queue from a video thumbnail, move your mouse over a video thumbnail from the show that you would like to add. Click on the plus icon that appears over the thumbnail. A small dropdown will appear with "Add Video to Queue" and "Add Show to Queue". Click on "Add Show to Queue". A green success message will display if you were successful in adding the show to your Queue.

To add an entire show to your Queue from your Queue page, select a show from the Choose Show dropdown. Then click on "Add to Queue". All of the videos for that show will be added to your Queue.

How do I add only the episodes and movies and not the trailers or clips of an entire show to my Queue?

To add only the episodes, movies, and other official videos of a show to your Queue, go to your Queue page in your profile. Select the show you would like to add from the Choose Show dropdown. Then select "Official Videos" from the dropdown to the immediate right. Then click on "Add to Queue". Only the episodes, movies, OVA, specials, etc. will be added to your Queue. The trailers, clips, and other promotional content will not be added.

How do I add only the trailers and clips of a show to my Queue and not the episodes or movies?

To add only the trailers, clips, interviews, and other promotional content of a show to your Queue, go to your Queue page in your profile. Select the show you would like to add from the Choose Show dropdown. Then select "Promotional Videos" from the dropdown to the immediate right. Then click on "Add to Queue". Only the trailers, clips, interviews, events, etc. will be added to your Queue. The episodes, movies, and other official content will not be added.

How do I add a single video to my Queue?

You can do this in two ways - from any video thumbnail on the site and from your Queue page in your profile.

To add a single video to your Queue from a video thumbnail, move your mouse over the thumbnail of the video that you would like to add. Click on the plus icon that appears over the thumbnail. A small dropdown will appear with "Add Video to Queue" and "Add Show to Queue". Click on "Add Video to Queue". To add a single video to your Queue from your Queue page, select a show from the Choose Show dropdown. Select either Official Video or Promotional Video from the next dropdown to the right. Then select the video you would like to add from the third dropdown. Then click on "Add to Queue". The selected video will be added to your Queue.

Why do shows display in Queue with 0 videos? Where is the Play Show button?

This means that the Show doesn’t have any videos to watch yet. As we add videos for that show, they will appear in the list for that Show in your Queue and the Play Show button will also appear. Then you’ll be able to watch that Show with your Queue. Be ready for each upcoming simulcast season by adding shows to your Queue as soon as we announce them!

Where do I go for support if something isn’t working?

If a question isn’t already answered in the FAQ, then please visit the Support page and fill out the form. Under “Reason for Contact”, please choose the reason most closely related to the issue that you are experiencing.

How do I report a website issue?

Visit our Support page. Fill out the form. Under “Reason for Contact”, choose an option in the Technical section that best fits the issue that you are reporting.
