Here you can find answers to questions about how the board works. Use the links or search box below to find your way around.

How do I find a product for a specific anime?

You can do this in a couple of ways. You can either visit the show site for the anime and click on the Products tab, or you can go to the Shop and click on the title of the anime in the “Shop by Show” scrolling list on the right side of the page.

Can you recommend an anime to me to buy?

Go to the Shop. Click on “Browse” in the header. Then scroll through the list of genres on the left and choose the ones that you like. You can also head over to our forum and ask our extremely helpful and nice forum community.

Which countries do you sell to?

We can only sell to customers residing in the U.S.A. and in Canada.

I live outside of the United States and Canada. Can you help me with a purchase?

Unfortunately, no. Per contractual obligations, we can only sell and ship to the U.S.A. and to Canada. This also extends to customer support.

Which countries do you ship to?

We only ship to the USA and Canada.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes, but we can only do ground. If you would like your package to arrive 2nd day or faster, then please use a physical shipping address.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover credit cards, PayPal, and FUNimation.com gift cards. We do not accept debit cards, third party gift cards, cash, or checks.

Is my payment secure?

Absolutely! We have a third-party service from McAfee perform a daily PCI test; and our order processor is independently PCI compliant and is validated on an ongoing basis.

Why was my card charged a second time for a pre-ordered item?

Your card is actually only being charged once. When you purchase a pre-order from the FUNimation Shop, your card will be pre-authorized, which means that it will appear as if you have been charged for the title. The pre-authorization should drop off of your card a few days after you have sent in your pre-order. The timing of this depends on your financial institution. The full purchase amount of the pre-order will not actually be processed and charged to your card until your pre-order has been shipped.

If you believe that you have been charged twice for the same pre-order, please check your full banking or credit card statements and confirm whether the full amount of your pre-order was actually deducted twice. You should see that the funds were only deducted once overall while the earlier charge was only a pre-authorization and was debited back to your account later. Note: Some banks will place a hold on your payment and then return the funds after approximately 10 days. In this case, please check your statement to see if the bank has removed the hold from your account after your pre-order has shipped.

If the full amount of your pre-order was deducted twice, please visit www.funimation.com/support and choose "Shop - Orders" as the reason for contact.

What is your return and refund policy?

Please go here to read our Return and Refund policies.

Does the FUNimation.com Shop sell gift cards?

Yes, you can purchase them here.

How do I redeem a FUNimation.com gift card?

On the Choose How to Pay page of checkout type the gift card number into the gift card field at the bottom of the page. Then click on the Apply button. Please note that you will still need to provide a credit card or use PayPal when you check out. If your gift card will cover the entire amount of your order, then your credit card or PayPal account will not be charged.
