...what would it be?
Since I couldn't find a thread like this in the anime section or fan section, I decided to make my own. I'm not sure if this is the right section so if it isn't, can a mod direct it to the proper section?
To get things started, I'll list some ideas I have for one particular anime I'd like to see and produce myself: a sumo wrestling anime.
The idea is similar to Naruto and The Prince of Tennis in terms of worldview: it's a world that is utterly obsessed with sumo wrestling(!) This is also a bit of a deconstruction/reconstruction of the trope Big Fat Future as being a sumo wrestler is the only way to determine one's worth in the world (if your a male that is).
The series starts off as a typical fighting anime with the main character being reluctant at first to enter into this brave new world of fatties in diapers, but with the help of his master and fellow rikishi he slowly grows (both figuratively and literally) as a blossoming rikishi. He even develops a rivalry with another rikishi at a neighboring sumo heya. However, things start to get interesting as I plan to develop another plot that ties the fighting/slice-of-life elements together into an overarching plot.
The idea is still fresh in my mind and I may come up with more (which will be saved for another thread). So any ideas you guys have for an anime of your own?
My idea would be what would happen if Sonic the Hedgehog and Goku were stranded on an island together due to 'strange circumstances' and must work together to find all the coins before freeza and dr. robotnic devise a way to destroy the island using the dragon balls made from the souls of sonics friends. Can Sonic and Goku figure out the location of all 500 rings on mysterious island zone 1 before time runs out.
And I want to have a beach episode where tails and krillen go to the beach and try to pick up on Amy and ChiChi while eating shilled noodles and breaking watermelons.
I like this topic, and like your story idea, I don't think Ive heard of an anime about sumo wrestling sounds interesting, but I am an anime style artist and If I created my own anime I would like to see both of my series turned into anime, would love that
first series- Land Of Insanity its complicated but I started it four years ago and it has developed alot. Ive restarted it so many times I can't count, but its a story that's important to me since ive worked on it so long. Land of Insanity, is about a young writer named Kenji Ikeda. He is 18 years old and a bit awkward, mostly because he has a silly face but that doesn't stop him. His dream is to write the story of a girl he meet 4 years ago and continues to dream about her. Well one day while Kenji is out and about, he stumbles apon a girl who looks like the one he met year ago. It turns out to be her, the infamous Ripa Hayashi in the flesh. Kenji asks to write her story, but in exchange Ripa wishes to become his princess- note shes weird. of course having no idea what this means, he agrees and thus the contract is made. Now Kenji must be apart of the biggest game of his life. After this Kenji is forced be a member of the IDC team code named Reaper. This leads Kenji to meet Elsa their team secretary and team Black Rose which consists of Sho and Azuka. IDC is ran by Ripa's uncle, who is a twin to Ripa's father. Kenji has yet to notice what incredible story he has stumbled apon.Kenji will learn of Ripa's past and the frightening game she plays.
I would probably want more detailed anime style if it was a show

The other series is one i currently have a motion comic of Shooting Star which is about a girl who is one day struck by a shooting star and becomes a super hero who is forced to fight her closest friends because the are all trying to kill her!
This show would maybe have some similar styles to the backgrounds in Black Rock Shooter execpt no checker board tyles
And violins for alot of the background music

Truthfully I have made a a story for a while in which there are super power beings (Yes like goku because I am a DBZ fan) who train in a universe and try harder and harder to survive in which some are better and some are worse fighters. Then one day these people called the protectors show up on planets around earth and destroy them when soon after they then come to destroy earth to protect there home planet. As you read the story you find out that most of these protectors arent as bad as they seem even though they have killed billions beforehand. And you get to find out that the earthlings/other aliens that are defending earth arent as good as they seem either. It shows a LOT of personality, the plot makes sense and isn't really forced or stupid (Sonic and goku on an island stuck? really? Goku can kill Frieza easily let alone Dr.Robotnic). I have a lot of it down but it has not been finished because people have Work/School that kinda thing.
In this story there is actually some DBZ humor as well (Again DBZ fan) which all the writing was done by multiple in a DBZ RPG site that I own. If you wanna check it out let me know I can show you what I have of the story.

Earthling/other aliens
Vienna- Rich girl who feels like the rich are evil
Wolf- Past Hero who is retired
Goshi- Grand child of two old heroes (Not Wolf)
Quemon- A HUGE asshole how kills for fun
Kin- A nice stoner who wanted nothing more then to sit around and eat but got these powers through his parents.
Fuyohaki- A wanna be samurai in which is our comic relief XD
Erina- a rather pieceful warrior who came to earth looking for a place to find home.
Azeal- an angel who is mixed up between what is good and evil but she thinks she gets it.
Wraith- A scummy alien who wants to become like the legend on his planet who was known for destroying planets and killing people.
Sythius (Also known as Sytherius) - An alien who cares mostly about himself though wants to be a hero
Golem- A rock guy that only follows when commanded by a leader
Seline- A girl who only thinks about herself that would switch sides on a dime.
There might have been two more but I am not sure. I will have to check.
Protector
Mr.White (White)- Leader of the team in which chose all of his team mates from different backgrounds
Conner (Red)- Well known bar fighter who was defeated by White in which he told him to join the team
Code (Blue)- He is a smart person who makes technology to help the team and uses his smarts to help the team when he can
Speedy (Green)- Once auctioneer who was meant to explain the situation to his home planet what happened but instead became that and a fighter at the same time.
Cindy (Grey)- The first girl on the team that was not from the home planet that is rather stupid but has anger issues. (I can give a HUGE explanation on her if you want)
Griff (Orange)- Son of the biggest baddest fighter from his planet that trained for years to become this great almighty warrior. Though when he joined this team and left home his motivation went down as he then became rather lazy hating to actually have to do something.
Kandy (Yellow)- Was a girl who fought for woman rights on her planet that even when she left the planet she believed this and saved Grey and Seline from complete and udder death.
Kroz (Black)- cripple from his home planet that White also saved
NB (Navy Blue)- silent criminal that was saved by white when on his home planet
Seline (Brown)- An Earthling who only thinks about herself that would switch sides on a dime. In which she joined because Yellow offered that or death.
I would love to create my own anime, based on most harem anime I love like "Love Hina", "Shuffle!", Negima", etc. I would create an anime about myself and P.Y.T. Girls, I called them "P.Y.T. Girls" named after a song "P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Things)" by Michael Jackson and that's the reason. There are 9 of P.Y.T. Girls who are fangirls of Michael Jackson and I married and have a child with one of them and I was best friends with them and yet though I'm married, the girls are after me, maybe because they see Michael through me and well you'll know why.
The P.Y.T. Girls are Sarah Kiss (my wife), Aki Fusato, Paula Simmons, Erica Zuzic, Jenna Ryder, Monica Viscom, Terri Viscom, TIffany Lee Wensink and Su Yung Xhang.
They love to discuss everything relating to Michael Jackson, stories, dreams, music, tours, his love for his fans and even his kids. When they sleep or daydream, they're with Michael wishing to have kids with him, they even dream of giving the King of Pop harem
. That's how they show their love to Michael Jackson...Always.
