Streaming Fairy Tail Question

Is there the possibility of also putting Fairy Tail on streaming sites like our own fan community; FUNimation Beta and the one on Hulu?

well considering funi licensed the streaming rights i assume so. i think it will be streamed sometime in the summer depending on when its bound to air on tv.

The press release says "home entertainment, broadcast, digital, mobile and merchandise rights." Does digital include streaming (I don't actually know)? Crunchyroll already simulcasts Fairy Tail, albeit only to premium users. I know that FUNi and Crunchy sometimes stream the same thing, but it's rare.

Of course, FUNi streams pretty much all of their stuff these days. They could probably stream preview episodes, but not simulcast.

Funimation would probably only stream the earlier episodes as they only have the first 48 episodes licensed. It wouldn't be a simulcast anyway, since Funimation hasn't entered into a deal to simulcast the series.

I think it will be streamed like their other stuff, a dub and sub episode before it comes and such. Did they have the dub/sub of FMA Brotherhood on streaming when it aired on TV?

No, FUNI only streamed the subbed episodes of Brotherhood when it started airing on Adult Swim last February. They posted dubbed eps of Brotherhood i think a couple of weeks before it went Hiatus last August. But yeah I agree that FUNi is gonna stream the first couple of dub/sub eps in the summer and also probably give us a cast list unless it gets on TV sometime before that

@sam i say the other members of the cast aill be announced soon via youtube in a similer fashion as hetalia since they know how big it is heck they been pushing titles like darker then black 2 for it and they been recording it as long as they been recording summer wars apparently shocked.

According to the schedule, Fairy Tail's first two subtitled episodes will start streaming on the site on Friday, June 17, with two episodes a week after that.

well im glad its being streamed soon but it looks like the dub stream will start at episode 7-9.....thats pretty weird.
