You mean "HAH-dess." And yes, such hate is ridiculous for those who are familiar with the Greek god of the underworld (from those who take Greek history to those who only play God of War or watch the Disney movie or play Kingdom Hearts, the Japanese version of which also pronounces Hades's name as "HAH-dess" in Japanese but "HAY-deez" in English).
HAH-dess, sounds so much more better in my opinion, not because it's the japanese pronunciation, but it's sounds cool and it's different from the usual "HAY-deez". But knowing the way they've dealt with names such as
Erza going from "AIR-za" to "UR-za"
Lisanna going from "LEE-san-uh" to "LIZ-zan-uh" or "Liz-san-uh"
Lamia Scale "LAH-MIA" to "LAY-MIA"
x-x. I've already gotten over those, I'm just saying that they will most likely use the "HAY-deez", even though "HAH-dess" sounds so much cooler. xD

I don't recall the name ever being pronounced like that anywhere else, and I doubt Funimation will use that as an excuse to change the formula. Besides, barely any of these names are Japanese, and fewer are even real names that have appeared in other places. So when it comes to phonetics, anything goes, especially in English where Funimation goes out of its way to work out a phonetic pattern that still somewhat adheres to the Japanese pronunciation. Unless they're already-existing names and words (like "Lamia", which is the name of a mythological creature with the upper body of a woman and the lower body of a snake, and has always been pronounced "LAY-mee-uh" in English), in which case they pretty much only use the general English pronunciation. So it most definitely will be "HAY-deez," named after the Greek god of the underworld as well as the Greek underworld itself.
Besides, how would you pronounce "Satan Soul"? Would you really be inclined to say "SAT-an", as the Japanese call it? Or would you say "SAY-tun", like how it's normally said in English? Because I really hope they call it "Satan Soul" in the dub. I mean, so far, they've translated the episode title as "Advent of Satan" in their subs and the episode list on YouTube and this site. I have this feeling they may replace it with something like "Devil Soul", so I'll at least be somewhat prepared for it in case it's different, but if they do end up saying the name "Satan" at all in this dub, that will be a pleasant surprise.
Say, for anyone who gets the DVD, would you please also tell us whether they keep the name "Satan Soul", and how they translate the title?
Hey how's everyone doing? My part 4 shipped 2 days ago and hopefully gets here today so I can watch Lucy and Loki kick the crap out Bixlow (I think I spelled his name right)!

Then we also have you to count on for those remaining voice actors of the season. Just check the list in the previous page or two.
I didn't see Ivan and Grandeeney listed in the credits...
Do they have any recognizable voices, who may be listed in the "Additional voices" section? Or did you just jump straight to the end credits first without watching the episodes?

I just jumped to the credits, so I haven't heard them yet (not sure I'd be able to recognize them, though...).

Just got my Part 4! Here's the cast info I was able to dig out:
Fried – John Burgmeier
Bixlow – Scott Freeman
Evergreen – Caitlin Glass
Young Laxus – Mary Morgan
Hades – John Swasey
Igneel – Bob Magruder
I didn't see Ivan and Grandeeney listed in the credits...
Also, Episode 45 is still "Advent of Satan," and Mira's takeover is still "Satan Soul."
Ah I can't take it!!! I should have ordered from RightStuf!!!

Ivan's voice is new to me as well, I've never heard this voice actor from any other dub.
