Usually, this is hard for me. Most of the time, you love to hate the villains (Minerva) or just find them amusing (Brain a.k.a. Zero of Oracion Seis), but there is a villain, or group in this case, that I do hate. The Jiggly Butt Gang. They are just stupid and annoying...but also incredibly funny. So that rules out villains. Then you have the heroes. None of the major or even the minor characters have lame magic and there isn't any hero who's really stupid...well, Ichiya's a dumb ass, but he's funny at it.
In the end, the only character that would have to be my least favourite is Master Bob. He's the only one that doesn't make me laugh. I mean. if they're gonna make a cross-dresser, at least do it right. A big, bald guy can work as a cross-dresser, but Master Bob is just too obvious and it takes some of the comedy away.
Minvera, just Minerva. If you didn't see the naval battle episode you would know why.
Spoiler: Highlight to view
Also there's the chapter where Erza and Kagura are having a moment when they realize Erza saved Kagura's life. What does Minerva do? She literally back stabs Kagura.
Minerva is my least favorite character. I could respect her as a villain...if she were actually a villain and not some petty elitist who wants to be number one at all costs.
Being the latter makes her sadistic actions lack any actual villainy and only serves to make her into a bad person. Is she irredeemable? No...she hasn't crossed any lines like that yet....but I am not rooting for such a thing at this point in time.
Of course, whether she's even relevant at all after this arc is the question I find myself asking.
I haven't read much of FT lol. And I don't hate Jellal as a CHARACTER per se, I just hate his relationship with Erza. Ever since Tower of Heaven I've hated it. I know he was possessed by Zeref or what have you and came back with little to memories of his actions, but I still can't let it go.
I mean he kills Simon, almost kills her along with a host of other people, but it almost seems like he just gets a clean slate, like nothing happened and that ticks me off. He puts Erza through a ton of crap, yet she still loves him or whatever they have, and it just doesn't seem fair for her to throw herself at someone that no longer deserves her.

You referred to her beating of Lucy and stabbing of Kagura as Moral Event Horizons, so I beg to differ. She crossed two lines. After seeing what she did to Millianna, she crossed a third line, and her blackmailing of Sting, one of her own allies, then she crossed a fourth line.
On that note, though, I am starting to see those as being desperate to go for the gold. Up until now, I have been seeing Minerva in my mind as this homicidal maniac who rapes men so she could eat the babies she gets pregnant with, but I'm now starting to blame that on my mind's own exaggeration of how bad a person she is. Personally, I think it really doesn't help that tvtropes.org refers to her as a Complete Monster. Maybe it isn't that she has no redeeming qualities whatsoever, it's just that we haven't seen them yet. Now, that you've opened my eyes, I really wish I had never wished for such over-the-top tragic fates upon her. I still am not gonna like her at all, but at least I won't wish for anything gratuitously vicious on her anymore. I've seen worse people (cough cough Zorin Blitz cough cough). So maybe the thing about Minerva's bad deeds that really offended us may have been the shock value.
By the way, I sent Mashima an e-mail on Facebook requesting him to not only ignore my... previous request, but also to pretend that it never happened.
You're referring to the Hellsing major, right?

I thought so. I'll say that I hated Karen Licra as well. At least she was only in one episode.

For me, it's a toss-up between Minerva and Karen. Awful people.

*raises hand* I hate Jellal...mostly because of his relationship with Erza.
To my utter confusion. lol
