What a great place to leave us off there with the end of episode 10, am I right?
It's crazy how much happened in episode 10.

I haven't posted here in a WHILE (I got to start getting back into doing so), but I noticed FUNi started putting subbed episodes up! Awesome! I hope we can get a simulcast, too!
Not likely at all. CR is Simulcasting it.
I also think that Funimation will not be getting the simulcast rights to Fairy Tail.
Episodes 9 and 10 were excellent as well as hilarious.

I am currently on episode 5 on the site and have really been enjoying it. I love the sense of adventure and action in this show. I definitely plan to keep watching!
Re: Fairy Tail General FUNimation Streaming Discussion
I've been off and on with this show for a long time, and for some reason never watched past episode 4 until recently, and while I usually don't go for some shows based on shallow emotions, I can say that I am first and foremost a fan of the anime over the manga, JUST to spite the fans of the manga that nit-pick the anime to death.
So yeah, I like it for spite, and love the filler, and eat it with a spoon like pudding and savor every bite and morsel. I can't wait to see this get a release, so I can watch it subbed to spite the fans of the dub too.
Re: Fairy Tail General FUNimation Streaming Discussion
Episodes 11 and 12 were excellent. I loved seeing the Galuna Island part animated, even if the battles haven't been animated fully yet. I am waiting with bated breath for next Friday to see what happens in the next two episodes.
Re: Fairy Tail General FUNimation Streaming Discussion
I've just finished the Galuna Island arc, and I'm starting to realize that this show has some real potential.
The beginning concept caught my attention from the beginning, and the fights were a step above the previous episodes. Gray's past was adequately done, and it brought forth a really interesting concept for a villain. It was the first time I was really gripped to the show, so that has to say something.
Spoiler: Highlight to view
One thing I didn't really like was how easily all the villains got off and turned good. I mean, it's a good concept for Lyon, whose problem was that he hadn't moved forward one bit from when he was a kid, and he could earn redemption by finally doing so--but it wasn't shown well enough.
Also, I hope we get a bit more development on Elza--she's entertaining, but something about her is starting to annoy me (maybe it's that she's too "perfect" and never in the wrong somehow).
Despite my nitpicking, I'll continue to monitor this show with (hopefully) growing enthusiasm. From an image of the new ending, it looks like the show might be getting into Natsu's past, which is intriguing. Speaking of which, while I prefer the first opening thus far, that shot of the council building turning into an armed fortress is really cool.
...Oh, and I've praised the show's BGM before, but I'm starting to think it's the best part of the show. It's that good.

@Looney: Just curious and absolutely no offense intended, but are you intentionally misspelling Erza's name?
But yes, you will be getting some background relatively soon and will see that she, while badass, isn't faultless or in the highest league. As for when, you'll just have to keep watching.
In conclusion, I can assure you that things only get better from this point. ^___^

FYI episode 10 sets up lots of future events.

Well, it looks like we'll just have to be patient with Fairy Tail.

You'll get to know Erza's well around episode 32, that's when her background will be revealed. That arc is still my favorite one.
Where the stream is now you'll learn about Lucy and her motives for joining Fairy Tail.
Oh and Open 3 ("ft." by FUNKIST ) is awesome I think it'll be episode 25.
