I think the highest compliments I can give the dub so far is how it handled Lucy's Spirits in this episode. In particular, I liked how it shook up Horologium's translations--instead of just saying "she says", he says "she screams, she cries," etc. Made the gag a bit funnier.
Haberkorn's Natsu is starting to grow on me this episode, which is good. The new voices range from fitting (Elfman) to iffy (Gray), but I'll give them more time.
Also, I should have mentioned this before, but I really like the voice for the narration--a nice and soothing voice, like the Japanese side, without sounding too similar.

I really liked the newest episode. i found the first episode only okay, but i think the second improves on it greatly. i really liked Horologium, haha. 'she inquires!!' 'go home, i say back!!!' i was definitely not expecting such a deep voice for gray. i really like makarov's though.

Just saw the second episode. Newton Pittman did a good job at Gray. He sounds so hawt! XD Love Elfman, Loke, Cana, and everbody else's voices. Though Mirajane's voice annoys me a bit. Sometimes Monica Rial does a fantastic job and sometimes she annoys the crap out of me. Still a bit annoyed by Happy's voice though, hope I'll get used to it. I just wish he sounded more like a young boy, not some annoying little girl! Still, it's a great dub. Can't wait 'til it's out on DVD X3

Cracked up quite a few times. [such as Mirajane commenting on Gray's 'skivvies' and Natsu and Happy's reaction to Lucy's plan involving Everlue's toothbrush. XD]
Only thing is that I think they may have made Levy's voice just a bit too deep.

i liked it too!! and little plue is sooooo adorable, his voice is perfect! (if you can call it a voice, i guess i should say his 'noise' is perfect). i laughed really hard at the preview for episode 4 with mirajane saying, poyo! poyopoyo!!

I agree with you about Levy's voice, however she does look older in the first few episodes, so hopefully one it gets to the Phantom Lord arc, her voice will change with her appearance(Not voice actress, just a softer tone).

I was kind of hoping Monica Rial would use something akin to her "Tsubaki" voice from Soul Eater. Ah well, that shouldn't be too big a deal.
