Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
I accept that Erza won since the fight between her and Azuma was awesome from beginning to end.
I would've preferred if Erza defeated him using a new Armor instead of the whole "Nakama-power up" scenario, but whatever!
I did like how Azuma accepted defeat with honor. That was one of my favorite parts of the fight.
So far in this Arc, Erza's fight with Azuma is the only one I've liked. I hope RustyRose and Bluenote's fights don't disappoint.
I liked seeing Jellal in this chapter as well. I hope when Jellal gets out of that prison, he beats the crap out of Nadaru, although you can't really blame the Council people for treating him that way, considering the events of the Tower of Heaven Arc.
All of these characters showing up at the end of chapters (Luxus, mysterious kid staring at the sea, and now Jellal) might be forshadowing something. I wonder what Mashima is up to.....!
I've noticed though that Mashima is getting real lazy with Erza's Armors. She's always using the Knight Armor and she rarely uses any of the other ones.
Her other Armors have such cool designs, cool names, and cool weapons, yet Mashima rarely utilizes them. Or we get them for like one panel or two and then it's never shown again.

Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
Fun chapter, I loved that Erza came back in the fight and was able to land a crushing swipe to Azuma, it was fun to see her make the comeback that she did. Now, this chapter ended almost the same way as the previous chapter but this time with Azuma in danger, I wonder how he will come back in the next chapter or if Erza actually killed him, I'm guessing he isn't dead though and will be back next chapter to continue the fight. Man, I'm loving Fairy Tail so much, it's really quite the thrill ride compared to other manga's that are currently in production, I hope the anime sells well when it hits state side.

New chapter is out.
Good stuff. ^_____^
Azuma talks to Erza and he tells her about Jellal and how Ultear was the one behind it. With the added note that Jellal wanted paradise.
I do hope Erza confronts Ultear now. I was disappointed in the lack of reaction to hearing what happened with Jellal, but that could probably still surface if she finds Ultear.
Now with Azuma dead after having his darkness lifted, the remaining fairies proceed to defeat their Grimoire Heart opponents.
Gildarts was awesome against Bluenote and I loved how the Fairy Tail team worked together to defeat Rusty Rose like they did.
And now Ultear gives Gray some more words before leaving with Zeref. And now it's up to Gray.
But like the ending caption said, "The face of an angel, but whispers of a devil..."
Very suspenseful. Looking forward to the next chapter.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
I cannot even begin to describe the amount of shear disappointment I have right now and how much this chapter just failed.
I expected FT to win aganist GH so that's not an issue.
If that's how it was gonna play out, first off, why the hell didn't Evergreen and Elfman defeat RustyRose before like the rest of those crap Kin members? Was it really neccessary to prolong RustyRose's character just to give Bixlow and Freed the satisfaction of defeating a Kin member?!
And Bluenote...........this guy was even worse than the 7 Kin and now I find myself wondering why Mashima even created him in the first place. His fight barely even began and all him and Gildartz were doing was fighting with there fists, not even using there magic!
This was the guy who was a Lieutenant Colonel in the Gohra army during the Cabria War who single handley destroyed the entire Blue Dragon Regiment? Oh please!
I seriously would've been alot more content with Cana defeating Bluenote with Fairy Glitter! At least we would've been spared from the hype of Gildartz vs. Bluenote.
Gray defeating Hades with Iced Shell??? Considering what happened in this chapter, I can already forsee this BS happening soon. Frankly, I just don't care how Hades gets defeated nor who defeats him already.
I thought after Erza's awesome fight with Azuma that Mashima was gonna finally get this Arc's epic-ness back, but I had too much faith in him I guess.
I wish Mashima would just hurry the hell up and awaken Zeref already and finish this Arc up. I am sick and tired of this Arc's consecutive disappointments one after the other.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
The Seven Kin of Purgatory are officially my favorite antagonist group in all of Fairy Tail so far.
They gave FT a good run, but their mistake was not triggering Azuma's trap sooner. Had they taken away the magic enhancement and divine protection the island granted them, they likely would've overwhelmed FT.
Of course, we can't have that now, can we?
They've more than showcased their elite status as did BN, but against a magically enhanced guild that's known for pulling its strength from its friendships and a titan like Gildarts, their immense power simply was not enough.
That being said, though, I can't help but point out that Bluenote's black hole being destroyed like that by Gildarts, the strongest S class of FT, should have set off a catastrophic chain reaction, assuming it had the same properties as a factual black hole.
Though I did find myself liking the teamwork scenes the best. Such as the teamwork with Fried, Bixlow, and Lisanna [along with Elfman if you count Bixlow possessing him to surprise attack Rose] to defeat Rustyrose in this chapter, among other parts.
In all honesty, he was the one I wanted to see get crushed most. I hated his smugness.
I do hope Gray does not fall for Ultear's trap. As we know, Iced Shell is a sacrificial magic and will ultimately be the end of its castor.
I can't help but feel anxious, despite being sure he wouldn't throw his life away on a whim.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
The latest chapter of Fairy Tail came out yesterday and while it was enjoyable I would say that it was the weakest chapter that's been released in quite a while, that speaks highly of Fairy Tail though since the story has been phenomenal over the past several months. It looks as if Erza has put an end to Azuma and the guild got their magical powers back, also there was some cool side stories going on that will probably come to fruition over the next several weeks, lot's to like about this manga right now and it appears as if the high quality is going to continue on as the story progresses.

New chapter is up! ^____^
Most of the FT members are now gathered at the camp and with quite a few of their comrades [some of them heavy hitters] wounded, they're now planning to split into two teams.
Looking forward to seeing who's on the attack team and on the defense team. ^__^
Well, Ultear's true character emerges and Gray thankfully didn't fall for it.
Saved Juvia in just the nick of time too. [And on that topic, I'm sensing a Heel Face Turn from Meredy]
So it's true that Ultear has basically no loyalties besides to herself pretty much.
I was happy to see that he didn't hesitate to really give it to her, even cutting off her hot-winded self-gratification of being the leader of the Seven Kin of Purgatory. XD
Aw. Looks like I was beaten to the announcement. Oh well. ^__^
Go Erza!! :D
Loved her comeback that was kick-started by Jellal and carried out through Erza's determination and the rest of her friends.
Speaking of Jellal, man, that one jailer was a douche. -_____-
Well, looks like Azuma is down, so you have to wonder what's next.
And we even got a shot of a smiling Jellal following Erza's triumph. [Assuming it truly is over as it looks like. It might not be.]

Fantastic chapter, gray-sama gets to have an action part. I can not wait.

Hm, Ultear didnt look so hot anymore. It was pretty fun though. Gray sama rocks and he actually saw through her words.
