Erza looks like she is ready to kill Minerva. I really want to see the battle between Laxus, Orga, and Jura, because that seems like it will be one heavy magic battle.

Future Lucy came back without a strategy to defend against the oncoming apocalypse.
However, we now have Arcadios joining Jellal in the skeptical party. Apparently, something fishy is going on with this situation.
Also got a callback to Carla's premonition, seeing a crying Lucy in a collapsing Mercurius.
Seems Yukino blames their association with her. I'm wondering if she feels any self-worth.
Jellal lays his suspicions down. Either Lucy is lying or is not Lucy at all. Whether her warning is true or not, this does make for some great suspense and mystery.
Rogue's encounter with Gajeel continues. Rogue (who originally wanted to join Phantom Lord) says that he understands why Gajeel joined Fairy Tail. Due to friends...a concept that mostly does not apply to Sabertooth.
Well, Rogue was always the most understanding for camaraderie. We've known this since the chapter where Yukino was excommunicated from the guild.
I did like how Gajeel told him he didn't understand...as he has a genuine friend in the form of his exceed partner.
That was rather unnerving at the end, though. Rogue's shadow has a life of its own and is lending Rogue its power in order to kill Gajeel.
Well, Gajeel vs. Rogue is next. Let's hope it's good and exciting.

I'll say that chapters 316 and 317 dissapointed me. When are we finally gonna see Minerva's face get pummeled in? 316 jumped to another scene before Erza could fight her, and 317 didn't get back to it.... and said that the next chapter would portray a different fight!?!?
I felt that we've been gyped with the promise of an epic fight and cut away before it could actually start! It's like what the Hellsing manga would still be if Seras's epic beating down on Zorin Blitz were interrupted by another scene with Integra Hellsing or the Vatican.
Uh... I think I'll just ignore the latest Fairy Tail chapters for a while and focus my attention on the early scenes instead.

I don't care how good and exciting it is! The manga should have finished Erza's battle with Minerva before presenting us with a new battle! Or even before unveiling the 10,000 dragons thing! Seeing this picture made me anticipate seeing Minerva get grinded down into a pile of guts, bones and blood. It was the most epic "I'm gonna kill you!" picture I've seen in manga since... well... this one! Minerva is the most loathsome anime woman I've ever seen since Zorin Blitz! Yeah, even more detestible than Uwe Boll! And I'm still waiting for Erza to grind Minerva down into a thin red paste. Even if Lucy begs her not to. But now, it's being delayed by a bunch of other subplots that are currently getting in the way! When Seras went into berserker mode, she grinded Zorin before any other additional parts of the plot were touched upon! What gives, writers!?

It's the most anticipatory of the fights against perhaps the most detestable character in the series....which is exactly why it shouldn't be done with before the lesser (but still significant) fights.
And I can't say I object to plot revelations before the fact.
