Natsu's Team is finally leaving the underground place, so hopefully we get more answers on their side(Like why Lucy came back from the future and what happened in the future).
Minerva is really getting on my nerves, the whole chapter I just wanted Erza and Kagura to beat up Minerva, since both those characters are a couple of my favorite characters, however Minerva pits them against one another and decides to leave! Can she even do that? I thought participants had to stay in battle once they confronted someone else until the other participants were defeated.
What I am even more baffled about is that Kagura is after Erza more than she is after Minerva, which holds her friend hostage! You can't take a kidnappers terms to heart, because they are usually trying to deceive everyone else, which I believe Minerva is exactly trying to do. I doubt that Kagura or Erza(Especially Kagura) could take down Minerva alone, so if they don't work together, they will very likely lose Millianna.
I just knew that Orga was a Lightning God Slayer, and that Laxus was going to battle him. Gajeel vs Rouge was also expected. Now all I'm wondering is who is Jura going to fight, I know most people don't want to even engage in battle with him. Also, I have a feeling that Minerva has hid Sting from the battlefield so no matter what they can't lose their leader.

Well, everyone is astounded to see the future Lucy, who faints before she can tell them (and by extension, us) the extent of the disaster that caused her to go back in time from her time period.
Lucy realizes an oddity that it was her specifically who went back.
Liked how Yukino guessed the logical conclusion of Gemini, even if it isn't the right answer.
Hisui and Datong's conversation goes along and we find out Hisui already used the 12 Celestial Keys to unlock the Eclipse Gate. Though she's waiting to see what the outcome of the tournament is before actually opening it. And she wanted Arcadios to be the one sent with her if it became necessary.
We go back to the tournament and we see Minerva continuing to taunt her competition. Ugh.
Kagura makes a strike to "devour the second tiger" (first being Yukino) when Minerva uses her magic to switch places with Erza.
I was expecting a 2-vs-1 fight, but this works too. Forcing Erza and Kagura to fight and the winner fights Minerva for Milianna.
If that scene showed us anything by the end, it's that Kagura's own anger towards Erza has not been fazed.
And we now see that the others have met their next matches and it looks like a good set-up: Gajeel meets up with Rogue and Laxus meets up with Orga. (the latter whom many fans correctly guessed as being the God Slayer of Lightning....which did become obvious due to the lightning being black like Zancrow's black flames and Shelia's black wind)
I LOL'd when Mavis called Gajeel an SOB when he talked about how her plan suffered a setback. XD
While all of this is happening, Sting apparently has his own tactic in mind to bring victory to Sabertooth. Very curious.
Next chapter, we get Erza vs. Kagura....which is what many of us wanted to see anyway.

Sheesh. I never expected something so one-sided. Not when Erza is the one fighting it.
I have to admit....I did not guess at all that was Kagura's motive. Of all the things that could have been the source of her hatred against Jellal, Simon being her brother was something I'm surprised did not stand out among the viewers.
Speaking of Jellal, he apparently finds the whole thing suspicious from what Future Lucy told him. Curiouser and curiouser.
Erza utters some words of apology and Kagura unsheathes her sword....which is bad.
Do I think this is the end for Erza? Heck no. She never loses when it really counts, less so when her own life is on the line.
All the same.....why did you have to leave us on a freaking cliffhanger like this, Mashima? >.<
This is a manga serial, so chapters are expected to end in a way that keeps the excitement and suspense for next time in cliffhanger fashion.....but still, this was an evil one. A drastic action and we don't even know who felt it.

I really liked Kagura before these past two chapters, now I am really pissed at her -_-
I know for a fact that that was not Erza's blood at the end of the chapter. If Erza was truly the one who got whatever happened done to her, it would have shown it, because that is what we would expect at the end of the chapter.
It is purposefully hiding what happened not only to build suspense, but hide the fact from the obvious choice, "Erza was hit and possibly killed with the attack by Kagura" with something unexpected, but purely evil, "Minerva teleports Millianna in the way of the attack, making Kagura kill Millianna. Then Kagura would go on a rampage, maybe even unsheathe her sword fully and fight Minerva. I would think Erza would be furious, but she knows how to control her emotions better than Kagura(At least from what I see). That is my prediction anyways, I refuse to believe Erza receiving a defeat/death would be off paneled, especially since she is a main character(It might also be because I am a huge Erza fan too).

Her convictions allowed her to win the fight...and wow, was Kagura homicidal.
An interesting revelation. Erza and Kagura actually met long ago when the cult of Zeref was raiding their home village.
Speaking of which, I guess that addresses how said cult actually gathered slaves. Capture children and kill adults. Gee, Jellal looks all the less antagonistic for doing away with them after his temporary Face Heel Turn.
Kagura is overcome emotionally and about to concede to Erza when Minerva crosses the Moral Event Horizon in one of the worst ways possible. A dirty sneak attack from behind.
I do not even know what to say anymore. She's gone far beyond just some ordinary douchebag b**ch. -__-
Sabertooth is now in first. Oh, big deal. Dirty tricks negate any and all actual credit. -____-
At least Mashima acknowledged the word "evil" in the ending caption.
Next chapter, I really hope Erza takes this psycho witch down several pegs....and I do mean several.

I knew Erza wouldn't die from the attack, although I was wrong about it not being her blood. Right as when I was gaining respect for Kagura again, and wanted them to team against Minerva, Minerva just had to do that. Now I am extremely angry at Minerva, she is the worst, by far. I also don't think she is ever going to give back Lector, she will just continue to use Sting until she has had her fill.

Some of us have been speculating as such for quite some time. Even moreso when Yukino actually told us about her sister and we got a brief glimpse.
New chapter is out and my feelings regarding Minerva are reaching a whole new level of rage.
It wasn't bad enough seeing that Kagura was bleeding out and in agony...but when Minerva brought Millianna back and Erza examined her badly sliced body....that clinched it.
Minerva is now proven to be not only perhaps the most sadistic antagonist in the series....but an actual (as defined by the dictionary) sadist. One who derives pleasure from inflicting pain on others.
She is officially a character to be despised in my book (which is partially the aim of being a villain in the first place). Screw your wound and give her a sound thrashing, Erza.
Neat seeing the progress of the other fights.
Rogue further challenges Gajeel, telling him he's not as strong as Natsu. [Poor Gajeel]
Jura joins in against Laxus and Orga. This should be an interesting three-way.
Gray and Lyon join the Juvia/Chelia battlefield. Another round of rivals, it seems.
We go back to the FT group who infiltrated the castle. Anyone else find it kinda funny that Yukino used a respectful title in regard to the castle? :lol: [Even Wendy reacted to her using a title with a building. XD]
Future Lucy awakes and she knows what awaits them....which makes sense.
And we now FINALLY know what the bad future held. A whole herd of a thousand dragons invaded and destroyed the entire kingdom of Fiore. Dang!!
Looks like Hisui is going to make her decision based on what happens.
