Very interesting chapter.
Wendy casts Milky Way and revives the spirit of the Emerald Dragon, Zealconis. And boy, does he have a story to tell about what was going on 400 years ago.
I thought it was neat how he recognized that move as Grandine's.
So apparently, dragons used to be the dominant species of their world with humans being only fodder in their wake. [How ironic that they're now considered a myth by most]
Until an idealistic dragon thought that the dragons and humans should live in harmony together, causing a war between dragons to break out.
I love how Zealconis was just messing with them all through this. :lol:
And then the pro-human side brought humans into the war by teaching them the Dragon Slayer Magic. Probably not too good of an idea....seeing as it backfired when both sides were being taken out by Dragon Slayers.
And then we hear about one in particular. The eponymous Dragon King, who had slayed and bathed in the blood of many dragons until he became one himself.
And that particular Slayer was none other than Acnologia himself!
And thus we know the story of the Dragon King Festival.
With the conversation ended, I thought it was funny to see how the 3 Dragon Slayers reacted to becoming a dragon being something that comes about in the deeper levels of Dragon Slayer Magic. XD
Arcadios shows up with Yukino and talks about how Acnologia was turned into a dragon by Zeref and how getting rid of Zeref was the first step to stopping Acnologia.
Of course, propaganda is in the air....considering how we've seen him act in private. [And we already know he's got something bad in store for Yukino and Lucy]
Looking forward to next chapter. "The Eclipse Plan." :D

New chapter is out and it is awesome.
Don't have time for a full review right now, but in the meantime....
We finally learn what the Eclipse Plan is and the use of time travel is confirmed.
Things did get rather bad, though. Looks like Fairy Tail will need to win the tournament if they want to change their friends' sentencing. Poor Lucy and Yukino.
Though the concern for changes made to the present from the past is warranted.

Not until they used the designation, 'Imperial.' lol
Well, Fairy Tail are mad about what happened, but they know better than to make enemies out of Fiore without trying to make sure they have no other choice first.
It was kinda sad hearing Yukino's story about her sister, Sorano, and how the latter always supported her. The sad part, of course, being that she was kidnapped by a group of Zeref worshippers that murdered their parents.
Wait a minute. White hair...sister (Yukino) is a celestial mage....and kidnapped by a cult that worshipped Zeref. Oh my gosh. Could it be that Sorano is actually Angel? [who herself was recently an antagonist in an anime-original arc where OS came back]
But yeah, now we know that Yukino has a personal reason to want Zeref gone in the past.
Now we have the final day of the tournament and all the teams come in. Noticed Jenny is the one on the BP team now that rabbit/Nichiya is out. lol
Sting seems to have calmed down considerably since that happened and assures the late Lector (posthumously) that he won't lose.
Fairy Tail comes in and....Juvia has taken Natsu's place on the team.
And I can't even say I'm not okay with this. LOL
Natsu got in his big tournament fight against the two Dragon Slayers of Sabertooth. I don't mind at all getting to see something from Juvia. [We still have yet to see how Ultear's magical boost has affected her IIRC]
Meanwhile, Natsu moves with Wendy, Mirajane, and the Exceeds to go rescue Lucy. Now that's awesome.
Looking forward to the next chapter. Looks like the final tournament day is about a war game of some kind. I'm very much looking forward to seeing how this is set up.

Pardon the consecutive posting, but since it seems I'm the only one commenting.... .__.

Happy's disguises were rather hilarious. XD
Thankfully, the format of the final day is explained. The guild members are all over town and it's all a matter of defeating members of the other guilds for points.
They can fight individually or in teams. This also gives them a chance to fight more than one opponent.
The starting demonstration from the various others was nice.
Sting running from Kagura was rather amusing. LOL
Give some awesome points to Mavis for what she did in this chapter. Giving the team a strategy to lead them towards victory and her words to them were just epic. :D
Mira was pretty clever, using her transform ability to disguise herself as a Fiore army guard.
Interesting. We see the Princess of Fiore and she wants to use the Eclipse 2 plan, which is likely updated from the plan we just found out about. Friend or foe indeed.

Very nice chapter.
We get some more strategy and tactics from Mavis...whom we find out had the specific nickname, Fairy Tactician, from the times she had led her team to countless victories. No wonder she's the one who created Fairy Tail.
She even knew how to counter Rufus's attack, though Laxus didn't have to since it's Lightning and he's the Dragon Slayer of that element.
We knew there had to be more to Mavis than just being a cute little angelic girl (come on, she founded the Fairy Tail guild), but I did not expect something as awesome as this.
With Blue Pegasus down, it looks like only the really challenging opponents are left. (especially in the cases of Jura and Kagura)
Also, is it me or are Laki and Kinana seen together a lot? :lol:
Meanwhile, with Lucy and Yukino, they look like they're about to get free when a trap is triggered. Hell Palace, huh? I can already tell you I don't like the sound of that place.
The Princess of Fiore was even the one to trigger the trap with the intention of letting the rescue party rot. Yikes.
Although her facial expression in her final panel has me thinking there's more to her story than simply being another antagonist to worry about.
I am very excited for next week. Gray vs. Rufus begins! :D

It is now a three way tie in the Grand Magic Games! I am expecting epic moments coming up ahead with the Gray, Erza, Laxus, Juvia, and Gajeel team. I also can't wait to see how Natsu's group finds their way out of their sticky predicament. Gray vs Rufus seems like it will be interesting, I am hoping Gray wins a point for Fairy Tail. I am still wondering who is the captain for the Sabertooth and Fairy Tail team. I assume the one for the Sabertooth team is Minerva, but the other four could just as easily be the captain.

Either way the last chapter is getting me hyped up for their match so I can't to read in the coming weeks!
