Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
The chapter is up.
Well, we now know the source of Gildarts's anger as well as how he and the others knew there was trouble.
Natsu and those in his group go off to their own destination, wherever it may be.
Fried and Bixlow help out against Rusty Rose and give him quite the thrashing. I really have to say that I was waiting for that. Someone that stuck-up and arrogant can use a lesson in humility and fear.
I have to admit that I was a bit iffy on the ending. Just a narrated scene montage before apparently going to a flashback or something.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
nope. mashima likes to troll now so i think it means fairy tail is going to win but it could also be extremely bad. also i cant wait for sennen kos reply.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
Lot's of action in this weeks chapter and Gildarts lets it be known that he is ready to throw down as well, the final scene of this weeks chapter was kind of cool too and everything that happened this week has me excited for next week. I'm really getting into Fairy Tail now and I can't wait to the anime to be dubbed and released in the United States, I may also go back and buy all the manga volumes at Barned & Noble over the next couple of weeks too.

This chapter was iffy!
Gildartz fight with Bluenote is epic so far. But I hope Bluenote will put up a better fight cause the fact that he said that Gildartz overpowered him is kinda making me iffy about there upcoming fight.
I'm wondering about Hades though. I'm sure he anticipated Gildartz returning to the island so I'm assuming Hades still has faith that Bluenote is his strongest trump card, even with Gildartz there.
This chapter scared the crap out of me though and I was about to rage! I seriously thought RustyRose was finished from that attack by Fried. I don't like how Bixlow and Fried just showed up and started owning RustyRose though. I hope he puts up a good fight before he's defeated.
I don't like it how Mashima isn't showing much of Erza in this Arc. All we got so far is a single panel of her clashing with Azuma, not to mention we barely got anything from her brief fight with Meredy
I am looking forward to this upcoming flashback. I'm also glad Mashima is going to further develop Ultear and Gray's confrontation right now before the final fights begin it seems. I'm guessing the boy in that flashback is Zeref, but I could be wrong.
I just hope the upcoming final fights are gonna be good and decent-lengthed because this Arc has already suffered enough from crappy fights and I already dislike more than half of the 7 Kin.

This arc is now considered the longest running arc in Fairy Tail.
Anyways, onto the chapter discussion. I thought it was decent. Gildarts vs Bluenote has been going how I was expecting it to go, I just hope Gildarts doesn't own Bluenote too badly. Rustyrose being thrashed around by Fried and Bixlow is kind of sad. Considering that many have tried, and then they just show up and just beat the crap out of him. As for Erza vs Azuma, I really hope they keep it on paneled, because Erza hasn't fought once in this whole arc, and Azuma has really crazy power, which would create a real intense fight. As for Hades, I am hoping that Laxus shows up and battles him.
I don't really care for the talk between Ultear and Grey, but I guess it will be interesting regardless.

Didn't quite live up to your expectations, Sennen?
I have a bit of my own phrase for the feeling. Informally referred to by me as 'Espada Syndrome.' lol
On-topic, this chapter continues to make this arc the arc I most anticipate to see animated.
I cannot even begin to describe how badly I want the anime to get here. [It's been that way not too long after the arc began with Lisanna reuniting with Natsu, but kick-started during the arc-proper when GH and the Seven Kin came in.]
And while I agree with the notion that Zeref could be that kid, my only question is....how would that be possible?
I mean, him wearing Natsu's outfit and having the FT tattoo in the same place as Natsu is strange enough, but Zeref's time was 400 years before the start of the series.
Not sure FT has been around that long if it's had just three masters.
I have to admit, though....If it is true and FT is really more than just another Mage's Guild, it'd make for a rather excellent twist.
Re: fairy tail current manga discussion warning may include spoilers
Dammit I was hoping for more of Gray and Ultear, but this chapter was alright. What if that guy at the end is Natsu's predecessor of some sort? He's wearing the same clothes as Natsu, so he must have some kind of link to Igneel and the dragons.

pretty good chapter. it seems the arc is coming to a close soon but not before some backstory.

Anyone else getting a bad feeling?

If it's not a flashback but rather present time, it could possibly be Macao's son. Now that I think about it.
