Erza Knightwalker shows up, takes Natsu and Gray hostage, and has the Dragon Chain Cannon activated....Or not.
As it's really Erza Scarlet, who proceeds to take Faust hostage. ^___^ [A very good twist]
Unfortunately, the plan is very short-lived as Erza Knightwalker shows up and engages Earthland Erza as Faust orders the cannon's launch.
And now the FT mages hurry off to stop it with the help of Coco and her Legion.
Erza Knightwalker showed good tactic by cutting her hair short so that she couldn't be mistaken for Erza Scarlet or vice versa again
I did like the addition of the scenes with the Edolas Lucy, Natsu, and Gray as they're waiting for an informant before trying to convince the rest of the Guild. [whom I suspect is Edo Gajeel, who also appeared this episode on a motorcycle]
She sure does know how to shake Edo Natsu and Gray's cages. XD
But yeah. Nice getting a little progress report on them.
I found the episode pretty emotional, and I don't know what it was about it, it just made me teary eyed. I only expected it to hit up to the lacrima disappearing with a cliff hanger, but I liked this current ending of this episode. I suspect that the arc will end around episode 96, as that is when season 2 ends. Also, does anyone know if there has been a season 3 announced?
As for a season 3, there hasn't been an announcement yet to my knowledge. But I'm honestly not too concerned about it.
I'm almost certain there will be.
Edit: Saw it. Very nice episode.
The ruse the elders made about the queen is now out of the bag. Queen Shagotte had decided to make amends and gave up........until Charle made a very inspiring speech that moved her and all the other Exceeds.
It was epic seeing everyone working together trying to stop the lacrima. Team Natsu, Gajeel, Coco and her Legion, and even all the Exceeds band together to prevent Extalia's destruction as well as those from Magnolia turned into Lacrima. Even Lily after his eye-opening moment.
We see Lily's backstory, even. He was banished for helping out a little kid, now revealed to be Mystogan.
Speaking of whom, Mystogan himself shows up and returns the lacrima to form in Earthland, effectively eliminating the threat. Also turns out he's the prince of Edolas.
Everything was seeming to look okay with him seeing Lily again....until Erza Knightwalker pulls an incredibly douche move by shooting through Lily and declaring the battle still on.
Yeah it was one of those episodes that really pull on the heart strings!

Go Exceeds! ,even though I still don't like you!
Then the lacrima vanished , oh no!
Poor Kuuroneko.
FFFFFFFUUUUUUU Knightwalker!
Faust's battle mecha, Dorma Anim, is revealed. A rather frightening machine.
The Royal Army sure is relentless. Now hunting down the Exceed.
Man, Erza Knightwalker was a douche. Shooting down Lily. [I know that was last week's cliffhanger, but still...]
I think her new armor may actually be skimpier than the last. It shows off a good deal of thigh.
Poor Lucy. First, Happy suggests her as a decoy. Then the whole 'weight' thing comes into play when they're all falling. XD
I also liked how Lucy commented about Natsu on the Legion and he scolds her for referring to a 'buddy' as transportation. lol
Mystogan and Lily set off to do something important.
Scarlet vs. Knightwalker is heating up as well. Round 2 begins with a heated passion between the two female warriors whom hold different ideals and fight for different causes.
The three Dragon Slayers against Faust in Dorma Anim has gotten off to an excellent start and I look forward to seeing more of said fight. ^____^
My highlight was to see that Wendy can lend a hand in battle with support magic, way to not be useless!
Also it looked like when there were Wendy/Erza upskirts it was all dark as if it was censored. Also,also I noticed that the outlines on the character were heavy this episode.
Forgot my thoughts on last week's epi.
Loved Lucy and Gray's battles, they themselves being the ones to triumph.
The defeat of Hughes and Byro was even simultaneous. XD
Also, I laughed during the scene with Gajeel, Happy, and Lily as well as Natsu and Lucy on the soft floor.
Gray's awesome motorbike returns for a bit.
Gray's defeat of Sugarboy was great. The guy really thought he could talk his way out of it, but Gray sure showed him.
Plus, his ice magic allowing him to craft the exact key.
Well, Coco officially made her Heel Face Turn with now being more interested in peace than infinite magic.
On another note, the new episode is out now. ^____^

My highlight was to see that Wendy can lend a hand in battle with support magic, way to not be useless!

I think Gajeel should just eat his way to the pilot seat and remove him.

Also, she's not too bad with offense either. Granted, no fight before now has really showcased that moreso than this one.
