Awesome latest episode, loved the battle and Wendy's strategy was a nice touch.
Jellal's investigations start some trouble, that pain in the ass Lahar gets in the way again, but good old Yajima saves the day. I don't know why they didn't just put the Fairy Tail symbol on Jellal. I'm interested to see this fake Zeref magic too, and how Kagura acts from now on.
Looking forward to a swimsuit battle next episode.

I could imagine Zorin Blitz cackling at that moment. What Minerva did in that episode would make Uwe Boll want to tear her eyes out, pour gasoline on her body and light it all on fire. That's right, Uwe Boll, who challenges his critics to boxing matches just so he could punch them in the face, would hate Minerva for this!
Speaking of which, I wonder if SS5ant and Ninja_Shinigami_Mage have heard of and/or would like to say something about Uwe Boll. If so, they can post to my Grab Uwe Boll by the horns form.
Anyway, if any of you remember how Zorin Blitz mutilated and tortured Seras Victoria in Hellsing Ultimate OVA VII, you'd probably understand one reason why I've been comparing Minvera to Zorin Blitz. And why I detest both of those b@#&%-bags.
She did nothing especially horrible (Gajeel even did the same thing earlier in the series) like Brain did. I'd even say her actions were justified - Lucy challenged her as a wizard and knew the consequences (again, like Gajeel), and Minerva was simply sending out a territorial warning.
Anyway, I liked the latest episode. A bit more relationship stuff with Juvia/Gray, Elfman/Evergreen and Natsu/Lisanna. The battle itself was cool although nothing intense, I liked the little bit of buildup with Sting and Rogue, and barrel surfing seems fun.
I'm also really interested to see what's going to happen with Yukino working for the villain now.

Really? I think Minerva is the cruelest and most sadistic character of the entire series. Yes, even moreso than any of the Dark Mages of the whole series.
I'm going to quote a point I made on another forum about the Grand Canyon-wide difference between her and Gajeel from Phantom Lord.

Case in point, I find Minerva to be completely despicable, sadistic, and a total Spopovich. Actually, no. That's a compliment to the latter. She's actually worse if you ask me. (Especially in that she's not a dark mage nor aligned to any. All this despicable behavior over worthless elitism and pettily needing to be number one actually amplifies the effect than if it was done while being a straight-on villain. <__<)
Honestly, I don't think I'll ever be more giddy or satisfied about a bad guy in FT getting his/her comeuppance than for when it happens to Minerva.
I'll post my thoughts on the episode as a whole soon.

Well this fight was goin pretty good. But then Lucy lost..... again....... Now maybe its jsut I'm a lucy fan but it just seems liek the creaotrs have it out for Lucy to never really win. But anyway .. looking forward ot next week. Just a few more eps and its done for a small break.

Fairy Tail 171 “Naval Battle”
Well the episode starts out with the guild cutting loose after the 3rd day of the games with keg surfing.
Then the 4th day starts with an mostly female and a crumb underwater battle.
Juvia vs Aquarius I still would like to know who would have won that and an appearance by Virgo is always welcome.
Juvia gets pushed out by Minerva while checking to see what Gray was doing.
Then it all goes to hell that ubber B**** Minerva just picked Lucy apart even after the battle just cruel!
