It was funny seeing all of the FT members enjoying the heck out of themselves at the beach. LOL
And then a pretty awesome training montage of each of them doing different exercises to improve themselves.
Lucy's conversation with Capricorn about the 'One Magic' was interesting. Seems it wasn't quite what Hades was making it out to be.
I noticed the hot spring scene was vastly trimmed down. For one thing, the girls were not shown in the spring at all and Natsu and the other guys weren't shown trying to peek in on them.
Who knows, though? Maybe the full scene was too risque for their standards.
Instead, the girls were just shown in their robes at the spring.
Liked Juvia's latest hairstyle and I even noticed that Mirajane was wearing her old hairstyle from when she was younger when it showed the other teams looking at the stars.
Virgo pops up from under Lucy, which was hilarious.
Even more hilarious was how she feigned the Celestial Spirit World being in danger...and then smiled while making a sheepish sounding vocal when Lucy called it out.
It was very nice seeing the party in the Celestial World. Seeing the FT members interact with all the different spirits was awesome. They all sure had a good time.
Lucy's blush when Leo said she could run into his arms was cute, Levy showing interest in the books, Aquarius taking a liking to Juvia, etc. It was all nice stuff.
I also liked the ties/references to the Key of Starry Skies Arc both in the dialogue and in the Lucy montage during Lyra's song.
Unfortunately, the three months they had to train were all drained. Things look dire. [Though a solution is, of course, on the way]
Really looking forward to next week. As far as the transitional episodes, this upcoming one will probably be my favorite for a while. :D
I know that there is going to be an OVA about the training for the Grand Magic Tournament, so they might include the hot springs scene in there. I also wonder what other content they may put into the OVA. I really can't wait for next episode, with the reappearance of three familiar faces, and a possible solution to their current problems. I forgot of something that I was going to say, but if I remember I will post it.
I loved the comedy between Gray and Natsu, more Capricorn is always good, and I liked all the Plues. Aquarius pitying Juvia was funny, and the celestial spirit king is awesome.
I only wish they'd explained why Libra, Pisces and Ophiuchus weren't there, it is their home after all.

@Eresir: As to your question, it's probably for the same reason Loke and Aries had not seen each other since their time under Karen until the fight against Angel.
Fairy Tail 154 “Just Enough Time to Pass Each Other”
Virgo got some of that punishment she has been begging for in the opening scene
7 years sure did a lot for Meldy's figure lol
Then the whole Erza x Jellal thing! I bet a lot of people fell off their seats during that minute. Jellal has strong will to resists the waving on home Erza was giving.
Very nice new episode and one I've been anticipating for a while.
Loved how Virgo was tied up with big cinder blocks on her legs and was actually asking for more punishment from Lucy.
We see the other guilds that will be participating in the Grand Magic Games and their own expectations for the event.
Back with Fairy Tail, I was laughing at Erza and Natsu wanting to undergo hellish training with the five days they had left. XD
Even funnier was a pigeon landing on Erza's head...and staying there even as the note was being read.
They go to a suspension bridge in the middle of nowhere...that suddenly repairs itself. I think we can all see where this is going.
And then the moment I was waiting for. Fairy Tail meets up with Crime Sorciere, composed of Jellal, Ultear, and Meldy. :D
Meldy still sounds really young, though the seven years were very kind to her figure. [She's approximately the same age as Natsu's age group now]
It was nice how she seems to be on very friendly terms with Juvia with the latter even being happy that Meldy has such a nice smile now.
Ultear broke Jellal out of jail and even admits to Fairy Tail that she was responsible for manipulating him into the sinister villain he was during his reign at the Tower of Heaven. I'd say she's got a good start on helping those whose lives she messed up. [Though she's in a similar boat]
Turns out the three of them have made this Independent guild [Neither an official guild nor a dark guild] to rid the world of Zeref and dark guilds so that others may not also become victims manipulated by darkness. Interesting redemption goal.
Thought it was pretty funny when Gray suggested they become an official guild and Jellal tells him, "Prison break, remember?" Not to mention Meldy reminding him she and Ultear are former Grimoire Heart mages. XD
So they task Fairy Tail with investigating a strange magic that's been showing itself at the Grand Magic Games that feels like Zeref. Nice that they have Fairy Tail's back for the competition itself.
Ultear even tells them that she'll pay them in advance. Not with money, but using her evolved Arc of Time to unlock the recently discovered Second Origin that allows magic users to tap into a source they didn't even know existed.
Loved how she seemed to ooze malevolence at that part where she addressed the intensely high pain. And then Natsu knocks it home by talking like she's a cross-dresser. [She did, but he's got it backwards. LOL]
So we see that Ultear wasn't kidding about the pain. Even Natsu couldn't bear it.
Amusing seeing how squirmy Levy and Wendy were about it. [Wendy even saying she'd probably cry....when she was already crying. lol]
Meldy (apparently the only one Juvia does not suspect of wanting Gray) offering Gray a Sensory Link with Natsu was pretty funny.
Liked that small anime addition of Juvia dragging Gray off when she heard Erza and Jellal went off and Meldy making the comment about how she apparently hasn't made romantic progress yet. XD
The Erza and Jellal moment was very touching. He seemed to lose his resolve after going over the stuff he's done in the past, but Erza snapped him out of it.
Oh and let's not forget the kiss. [Or almost kiss as the anime seemed to more show it....Mashima intentionally made that ambiguous in the manga, so it could be either one]
Jellal then tells her he has a fiancee...which we learn was a lie not long after this conversation. lol
Rather amusing how Erza is perfectly fine while everyone else in the group is practically keeled over from Ultear unlocking their Second Origin. XD
Nice how Ultear now cares for Gray and tells Erza to take good care of him.
Meldy and Ultear call out Jellal for his lie and how he's just punishing himself. That was a funny touch.
Though Erza knows it since Jellal is apparently a really bad liar.
The episode caps off with the hilarious moment of Happy drawing a broken heart in the ground and Erza punting him in the air.
Looking forward to next week when the crew arrives in Fiore's capital of Crocus. :D
Fairy Tail episode 153 “Song of the Stars”
Bikinis, Swim Trunks and Parties
The Trollface Celestial King- Oh did you guys want to train for 3 months? Sorry.
New episode is out and it was great.
It was funny seeing all of the FT members enjoying the heck out of themselves at the beach. LOL

The latest episode was good.

@ErzaScarlet: Good point.
@Eresir: As to your question, it's probably for the same reason Loke and Aries had not seen each other since their time under Karen until the fight against Angel.
Which is?
Do the spirits under different contracts live in different areas of the celestial spirit world?
If that's the case why were the Spirit King and Plues in Lucy's area?

That's the real question, is it not?
Well, the King probably has no owner, being the ruler/governor of the entire Celestial World and all.
As for the Plues...no idea.
I guess it's a plot hole. After all, the spirits couldn't have been off training for three whole months.
