Lectors voice was the thing most shocking to me about him in the anime, the coloring I was fine with.(I actually forgot that he was red, but now I remember the color page). The new opening is growing on me after a while of thinking it was mediocre. Was not expecting the Mavis ending. Overall good episode, I can't wait for next episodes fight!
Fairy Tail episode 132 “And So, We Aim for the Top!”
Wow you gotta feel for poor Max. Everyone was like "Wow Max is going toe to toe with Natsu!" Natsu must be weak! Instead of man Max really improved over the years.
Just saw the new episode. Nice transitional episode.
Natsu complaining to Happy was pretty funny.
And we see just how different the Tenrou group is when we see that Natsu was having a hard time against Max and his Sand Magic before using Lightning Flame Dragon Mode.
And even then, using it severely drains him to a point it shouldn't be used in real combat.
The stuff with Porlyusica is still really interesting to me. She has the same voice and scent as Grandine...because she's the Edolas Grandine.
She even took notes on two Sky Dragon Slayer spells for Wendy's use. Talk about a great upgrade opportunity for the youngest Dragon Slayer.
And now Fairy Tail (which has Laxus as an official member once again ^__^) decides to join the Grand Magic Games in order to earn back their standing as Fiore's number one guild.
Very very excited for what's to come.
Next week will be a bit of a setback (manga readers will know what I mean), but the content is still fun and heartwarming to see. Looking forward to seeing Lucy's reunion with the Celestial Spirits.
Also...Juvia changes her hairstyle again. I like it better than the first one, though. LOL
It might have been lacking in quality fights, but it was still excellent, easily the best filler arc I've seen from an anime. The studio should get the writer and instantly double his salary.
Now, we're on to the grand magic games.
Gotta say, the new opening sucks. The animation is great, but the song is just boring.
The new characters look interesting, glad Laxus is a member again, Porlyusica being revealed to be from Edolas is cool- and it adds a new layer when you think about her meeting with Mystogan.
I hope Natsu's lightning-flame dragon mode is just a leftover from Tenroujima and isn't a permanent thing, it sort of detracts from his integrity as a fire dragon slayer.
Next episode we have the beach (hoping there's some quality fanservice) and the celestial spirit world, which looks cool.

Well if Mashima wrote it then it can hardly be called filler. If that's the case though I don't see why he sent Oracion Seis back to prison- I thought that was just something a studio writer would've done so they were in the same place Mashima left them.
Also, that sucks. Plus it doesn't make sense, the power Laxus gave Natsu should run out.
