Flower Mound, TX (September 25, 2009) – FUNimation® Entertainment today announced that it has acquired home entertainment rights to the 24 episode apocalyptic drama anime series "X" (TV) from D-Rights Inc.

Based on the CLAMP manga series, the anime is directed by Yoshiaki Kawajiri ("Ninja Scroll" among others) and animated by Madhouse ("Aquarion", "Beck", "Black Lagoon", "Gungrave").
