Will FUNimation seek to continue or acquire other anime from Geneon?
It is a possibility that we may acquire some of the titles currently held by Geneon. FUNimation is constantly researching new acquisitions but there is no information available at the time. Our partnership with Geneon is simply to market and distribute a select group of titles on its behalf. Geneon will continue to handle the production of all of its series. We will keep you updated HERE.

What is Dragon Ball AF and is FUNimation going to dub it?
We have also heard of the fabled Dragon Ball AF. Unfortunately, it is a rumor. There might be some fan fiction out there, but nothing official. It is not a series in production, or produced, by the original Dragon Ball creators or distributed by FUNimation.

Can I post episodes of FUNimation's shows for download on my website?
No. Unfortunately, you may not post or download episodes of any Funimation show on any website for streaming or download without the express written consent of Funimation. Episodes also may not be posted or downloaded via media sharing software such as Kazaa. Posting of episodes without the express written consent of FUNimation constitutes copyright infringement and may result in legal action against the persons responsible.

We do offer streaming episodes of our shows on FUNimation.com/video, hulu.com, joost.com, gaiaonline.com and youtube.com/FUNimation. Also, we offer downloads of our shows on iTunes, Amazon.com, Playstation Store, Xbox Live and FUNimation.com

Can I make an AMV/FMV of my favorite anime and upload it to YouTube?
We cannot expressly authorize you to upload video or use FUNimation’s content. However, we do not plan to take legal action against creators/distributors of anime-based media that qualifies as a fair use of the underlying animation. Nor do we tend to remove such media intentionally, provided that the video is clearly marked in a way that would identify it as a fair use [in the title] such as a satire, parody, review or critique. For more on fair use, please see this Wikipedia entry:

Also, please bear in mind that video streaming services such as YouTube occasionally employ "video fingerprinting" technology to identify and remove videos containing ANY unauthorized footage, whether it's arguably a fair use or not.

Can I get permission to screen one of your series?
We have a program called Operation Anime that helps set up screenings for clubs (or libraries) like yours. Please go to www.operationanime.com, sign up, and we can get things moving. Once your request is in and approved, you will receive an email confirmation.

If you still have problems after you visit your retailer, send an email to productconcerns@FUNimation.com, and they will walk you through the steps to receiving a replacement.

Can I submit my original idea for an anime?
Unfortunately, we cannot accept or consider creative ideas, suggestions, or materials submitted by outside sources, such as original artwork or ideas for characters, stories, products or games. To avoid any confusion as to ownership of intellectual property, it is also our policy not to circulate any such submissions to other persons in the company.
