Evangelion goes Hollywood. Newcomers will likely be bamboozled by the films' nonstop barrage of characters, technobabble, visual overload and plot points doled out at the rate of machine gun fire, but hell if those aren't some pretty pictures and fancy explosions. Evangelion produces some of the greatest moments in anime, and you will be question everything from what are the Evas, to why must we fight, or do we even have to. Regardless of how you feel about mecha, the characters, or anime in general (or the fan-service), you will not be disappointed by this... read full review

Neon Genesis Evangelion is one of the most captivating and treasured series of all Otakudom, or atleast it should be. It is the mecha anime that changed mecha, it's so obviously mecha that you forget it's a mecha!
