Evangelion 2.22 Blu Ray/Dvd Discussion

The orange cover of this dvd drives me crazy. It won't stay shut at all...*sigh*
"Failing to find value in the lives of others, only lessens the value of your own."
Yeah, I don't like the fact it copies the Japanese version mainly beause it causes inconsistency with the first set.
I do really like the texture though, So it gets a point. I like orange too, but I've been affectionately calling 2.22 "Eva and the Great Pumpkin". I think personally I'm just going to add a velcro snap to it, however that doesn't fix part one not matching.

Eva and the great pumpkin? XD
Manga in the UK are using box art that matches the first volume. To quote Jerome: "Orange cover doesn't work for UK or Ireland!".
I still haven't actually seen the film myself but it is definitely on my wishlist.
Signature? What signature?
LUCKY! I wish Funimation gave us that art, I mean I don't mind this. But it just so inconsistent!
OK, on to something more than the box. I got my Bluray copy of Eva 2.22 on Monday, 3/21, but I haven't watched it yet. Why? I saw the film at the Oklahoma City Museum of Art the previous Saturday! I'll get around to watching the Bluray, but right now I'm still basking in the awesomeness of seeing it on a BIG screen.
iv got this ordered, i know im alittle late, but i hadnt watched 1.11 so i didnt pre-oder. cant wait for this as i really enjoyed the first.

I am looking forward to getting a DVD copy, but likewise I am basking in the awesome that is Eva on the BIG SCREEN!
But I am kind of bothered with the inconsistency of the box. Next to 1.11 it won't really match, you know?
I see where you guys are coming from about the boxes matching... but what about the actual movie?
Personally, I loved it. I'm loving the fact that they actually seem to be taking the story in a new direction instead of just remaking the original. Truly... awesome... movie.
Foolishness is the bane of the world.
