The original series is still cheaply and easily available, so I could care less if FUNimation acquired the distribution rights. You can even legally stream the series in English or Japanese on ANNtv. The original singles also have some amazing bonus features, including interviews with the English cast, Japanese cast, English and Japanese episode commentaries, textless OP/EDs, Japanese anime and video game previews, and more which will likely be stripped in a half baked FUNi-rerelease. As a fan who already owns the original series on DVD, the only thing that could entice me to double dip is a Blu-Ray collection that would do this brilliantly animated series justice.
I'm grateful for FUNimation's AO simulcast, and I really hope they dub and release this show. I'm only on episode 8 so far, but presuming Renton, Eureka, or any of the original characters make some sort of appearance I hope they will be able to bring in their respective actors. Most of the VA's who worked on E7 are actors that have worked with FUNi before and should be easily available to them.
since funi only has rights to AO dose that mean thay cant dub eureka 7 good night sleep tight young lovers also known as pocket full of rainbows and if you never herd of it the only place you can find it with english sub titles is in 10 parts on youtube if you are a fan of eureka 7 you must see it
The Eureka 7 movie already has a dub,so Funi can't and won't re-dub it.they don't have the license to it.and what you're seeing on youtube is likely an illegal upload of the movie.
ok ok i get it geez but i have another question does funi plan on makeing a season 2 of AO in the next 2 or so years or is the licens thay have temporary because if the licens thay have is permanent thay should 100% make a season 2 because the way AO ended left it so wide open for a season 2 i could fly a 7 47 though with room to spare i mean thay did not kill any thing all thay did was

or if thay did and i just mist something thay could still bring them back some how or make the army go after them or something and all that aside AO was 24ep long and E7 was 50ep long so i think not makeing a season 2 would just be lazy and i cant be the only one that thinks this some of my friends say it has low ratings i doubt that but if its tru i blame lack of advertisements im serious i havent seen 1 for eureka on any chanel and only comeing on once a week at 2:30am does not exactly help what are your thawts on this

FUNimation is generally not in the business producing anime, so that'll have to be initiated by the Japanese side.
oh that sucks well thay should at least try to encourage some one to do it or work on it jointly or some thing because if thats going to be the end of eureka 7Ao i will be so pist off and by the way if you reply to my posts please put what you think of my points for instance what you think of the 7 47 coment on my last post or the advertisement thing it makes me feel like the entire AO forum not just this one is strictly questions and answers and no opinions at all what do you guys think thay should do with AO after thay dub it
