Hey everyone! I decided to make a new topic to create a debate on whether Dragonaut: The Resonance should have more seasons. Personally, I think it is an amazing show (look at my review 
) and should be continued to satisfy the taste of all the Dragonaut fans out there. Lets start a debate! Tell everyone what you think and why!

Should Dragonaut: The Resonance have more seasons?
Funimation does not control how many seasons a show gets, the companies in Japan do. I'm sure Funi would like many of the shows they have acquired over the years to have more seasons then they did, but theres really nothing they can do about it (yet.)
But as for the topic at hand...
NO, I do not think this show needs anyomore seasons...theres enough medicore poorly written ecchi series as is. Dragonaut had a interesting concept true (people that turn into dragon mechs, oh my thats so silly it has to work, lol.) But the show itself is pretty sub par, the characters are bland & 1 dimensional, and overall it does nothing to set itself apart from the mirade of other genaric anime that clutter the medium so prominantly.
But thats just my personal opinion...so please don't let it anger or depress you.

Well not to be as harsh as Soundmonkey, it did have a end and I don't really see much more the can do with the "story" .

While it was a pretty good show (To be honest, I feel it's underrated, but that's just me.), I personally think it shouldn't continue on. It had a pretty good ending, and there's nothing more you really could do with the series except like adding a new villain or some sort of new threat to the Earth.

Wow! All your replies are making me reconsider. I agree with DragonautFan83 cause your right! Dragonaut can not really continue without adding a whole new storyline too it! Like making a new enemy like mecha bunnies or something :D!

The dragons were cool, but Jin was probably the most indecisive and unlikable protagonist I've ever seen. Even as far as generic harem anime is concerned this show is probably one I'd least like to see another season of.

I like the show alot. But they wraped it up pretty good I think and there isn't really much you could do with it. Unless your talking a sequal that comes say yrs later in the future and they come back to earth to see if we have progresses in our acceptence or if we have fallen back to th efear of the unknown consept.
But I I rather liked howe they ended it and can't really ask much more from it.
