You forgot to mention only episode 26 (The OVA) was the only perverted episode.
Anyway, I really enjoyed this show (If you couldn't tell from my username. ). Saw it back in the summer of 2009, and finished it in under a month. It had been a while since I last finished a 26 episode series that quick. Definitely going to this year or next try to get the complete collection DVD.
Just finished watching this series the other day and I thought it was great. I really got behind the characters. The only thing that felt out of place was
Spoiler: Highlight to view
Kazuki doing a complete 180 personality flip at the end and loving Jin again. C'mon are all those people really going to forgive him for trying to kill Jin over and over again. Besides, Widow was awesome and he treated her like crap.
Kazuki treated Widow like crap because he badly wanted to get revenge on Jin, and because of that, he was blind with hate, and just treated those who he used to try achieving his goal cruely.
I understand why he treated her that way, I just can't see everyone including Jin turning a blind eye to the way he acted for most of the season.
Spoiler: Highlight to view
Even if Jin could forgive Kazuki for trying to kill him, I don't think he could forgive him for trying to kill Toa. And I'm 100% sure Gio wouldn't let that slide.
Kazuki was jealous of Jin (this is how I see it, at least) because he was able to get Gio to "submit" to him even though that wasn't what happened at all. Gio was awakened to his task by the call from Toa, and that's why Gio left Kazuki behind. I think the bond between Dragon and Dragonaut wasn't that strong to begin with in this particular case. The other Dragons and Dragonauts had no problem with solidifying their bond. On the thing about Gio not letting Kazuki get away with trying to kill Toa, I don't know about that. I think Gio would actually defer to Jin where Kazuki's concerned.
i think the show is great and i hope that it continues to make even more awesome episodes, i spent a long time looking for any good mature show, video game, or story that had anything to do with dragons (not anything like dragons and magic in the mid evil days like eragon) and one day my anime addict friend told me about this and i loved it ever since.
It actually had a pretty solid English cast if you look at the credits. I think it helped improve the show a bit.
Not saying this show was bad (it did have some good moments) but when even Funimation employees (who are trying to convince fans to buy a title) use sarcasm you have to question a show's overall quality (even those that really like it might admit there's room for improvement).
Dragonaut’s fabulous reputation should be enough incentive for you to check it out. (There may or may not be a hint of sarcasm in that statement. Take it as you seem fit.) If that’s not good enough I can throw out that the character designer also did Witchblade and Love Hina, so you can definitely expect some aesthetically pleasing visuals.

Pretty Cure should be up for quite a while, so you shouldn’t have to worry.
Also, 2 is a HUGE number. Trust me, every unit counts. We definitely appreciate it. You are totally right is saying the best way to get the stuff want licensed is to buy more of it.
I’ll be honest in saying I’d buy it for the “visuals” but then not tell anyone I have it. But hey… I work here.
Dragonaut: The Resonance was very comical and a great anime! I watched all the episodes and I am re-watching over and over again to get a better feeling of the series so I can make judgements about the possible/impossible future season (except for episode 26, uhhhhhhhh....). As of right now, I would love to see a season 2 so I can see what happens to the characters and what new storyline will be presented. I mean, they can't have the same storyline where Thanatos already left to kill some other planet, just kidding. They would have to make a whole new storyline where Mecha Bunnies come out of the sky and threaten humanity! Ummm..getting a little off topic.
Personally, I think the sub versions of Dragonaut: The Resonance was better because the dub just presented itself, described by one word, commiserable. The sub had a fluency to it and the dub just was pathetic, how it presented itself. I don't know why but I like the SUB more! :D
Despite all the negativity for this series, I actually liked it. It wasn't as bad as people said it was.

Yea. Episode 26 was pretty out there. It was funny with all the personalities being wrong for each character.
