A common complaint of Yamamoto's Kai music is that it's repetative. The same themes play over and over again. Is that really that fair to Kai? Is it really anymore repetative than Kikuchi's score? The same songs play over and over again. Is it just that they like Kikuchi's score that they give that fact a pass? I happen to like both scores and the fact that the same themes are played over and over again doesn't bother me.
