Nice that you're even writing a story for them, but those are definitely bootlegs. You don't even have to go further than the reviews on Amazon to see that, but just google "Alliance Entertainment digimon".

And hate to say this, but those are not bootlegs. Alliance Entertainment is a Canada company, they have rights to Digimon up there, as Disney has them in the US. It's that simple, if you want Digimon so damn much, get them, they're not some cheap Chinese version.

I can't comment on the Alliance boxsets much as I've always been told they're bootlegged too, but on Disney having the rights - nothing has been said for sure, but it's been buzzing for a while now that Disney may have let the rights to the Digimon franchise go.
There's no proof of this yet though I don't think. Personally my hope is that Shout Factory would get Digimon, at least for the old dubs.

Seeing as how...Disney sits on the rights for Digimon, I doubt we will. Maybe...Madman can do us US people a favor and make R1 region sets for us.
