I want to know when you guys plan on showing new episodes of D Grayman? Is it true you don't plan on makeing anymore because of the low popularity of the show? I agree that the show's status has gone down since its first release, and that other shows are now outshining over it. It is hard for a long running show like D Grayman to gain back it's popularity, but this is a perfect opportunity to bring the show back. A show's recognition can shoot up again after being on hiatus for a long time. It is a common tactic used on many shows in the past. Anyway, D Grayman is one of my favorite shows and you guys do a great job with dubbing the show that I would hate to see it half done.

New D Grayman Episodes?
Most, if not all the people here are in no way associated with FUNimation Entertainment. This forum is mostly normal people, like you, who joined the forum to discuss Anime and other things etc.So your not asking this question directly to FUNimation themselves and most of the answers you get will mostly be speculation. Anyway, back to your question, i have heard that there is a licensing issue with D.Gray Man and D.Gray Man did, indeed, sell well. It's popularity isn't "low" per say. FUNimation has stated that they "Want" to license and dub more D.Gray Man episodes but there is some kinda issue with the japanese company that owns D.Gray Man that is preventing FUNimation from getting any more of the show. We will all have to wait and see, hopefully we will get more D.Gray Man

I've heard simular things. There is something going on at the Creators end that is preventing Funi from licencing the rest of D.Grey-man. Hopefully funi has been telling them how much the US fans really want more of it to try and puch forward a positive decision. Right now it just the same old waiting game.

I'm hoping they get it up and running. By the way, Sophie comes into the forums. She is an employee of Funimation and reads the boards. D.Gray-Man is one of my fave shows and I so want another season PLEASE!!!!

Lol. Yes, I work at FUNimation. However, you're better off sending me a PM with a link to the thread you'd like me to read since the forum is too huge for me to read everything now.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to say either way on anything related to acquisitions or sales status. It's all privileged information. If we went around saying blah blah show sold this many units, then our competition would have that information too.
The best thing you can do for a show you love is to go buy it. We follow sales numbers more than anything else.
I do wish whatever the rights issues are would get cleared up because I watched most of the last 52 episodes as subs and honestly I think they were even better than the first 51 episodes. In particularly I thought The Arc...er...arc was fantastic.

I really hope the rights issues clear up soon. The whole series is amazing, and I'm definitely up for more D.Gray-Man.

People, Friends of Funimation and Anime,
We must be patient in this time for the 2nd half of this fantastic
franchise to arrive in the US. As fans, let's be thankful that Funimation
was capable of delivering us what we have of D.Gray-man so far.
Like the time Allen Walker, Lavi and Kanda went out to look for the leaf
of revival? Or the time they ventured into Krory's castle and recruited him?
Point is there's still much more to come. Just keep watching it, and promote it to your
friends or other people that need more good t.v in there lives!
