I've never started a topic before with the exception of my intro topic, so please excuse me for any mistakes. I just thought it was criminal that this did not have any topics yet.
It's a little embarrassing being a male fan of this series, but it's funny as hell and I love mysteries, so I'm not that ashamed. It's a little odd that Funimation has the sequel up without the original season, especially since I just found out about this season when it I saw it on the list of simulcasts.
For those who haven't seen the original season, there isn't much that hasn't been explained in the first or second episode of this season. They're the granddaughters of famous literary detectives who formed the detective group Milky Holmes. They used to be the best detectives until they lost their toys (powers) in a (still) inexplicable accident. Now they're trying to get back on top. They're rivals with the Gentleman Thieves Empire composed of the descendants of famous literary thieves, who happen to be disguised as members of the school. The Empire wants Milky Holmes back on top so their heists can be challenging again. At the end of the last season Milky Holmes got their toys back briefly in a battle with Henrietta (as Lupin), but promptly lost them again. Also at the end a little girl was introduced as Mori Arty (which is hopefully some foreshadowing if you know your Holmes!), who happens to be that same girl that is chasing that narcissistic genius girl (with an IQ of 1300!). By the way G4 is pretty self-explanatory from their appearance in the first episode of this season.
I know that was lengthy, but I wanted to make sure I covered all that was necessary. If you thought I missed something or just want to comment on the episodes please do! I don't want to be the only one on the forums for this great show.

It's been two weeks and no replies? Wow, that's really sad. I thought this show would be more popular. Sure it's only listed on the side, but come on!
*sigh* Does no one have anything relevant to the topic to add in this (so far) one person discussion? This is quite frustrating.
Anime that needs to be licensed:
Aria: The Scarlet Ammo Beelzebub Familiar of Zero Future Diary Haganai (Acquired!)
And of course Case Closed needs to be saved. In addition, more Fairy Tail!
I'd never thought that I'd like a show like this but it is actually pretty funny.
Also, if I ever get a cat I am naming it Fish Paste.
FINALLY! Someone! *sobs* To be honest I only tried this show because it had Holmes in the title, and if I knew what it was about I probably wouldn't have watched it.
It looks like Henrietta (Arsene) went up my badass list. By the way, she was already high up on the list to begin with, so that's saying something.
And did anyone else notice they made an Inception joke? When they were running from reality and in the flower field with an imaginary Henrietta, Stone River spun his sword to check if he was in a dream and did it again when he was back in reality, just like that top device in the movie. I can't believe they were even capable of that joke!

They have made a few jokes like that. Their out-of-place context is what made them so funny.
Oh this season was just so fun and wacky 12eps wasnt enough
I watched all of the first series, but I found this one a lot harder going (and I keep forgetting it is there, since it is on niconico.com where nearly all other recent titles are blocked in the UK)
Signature? What signature?

Season 1 is up on Crunchyroll at the moment so anyone who hasn't seen it can head over there then pop back over here for the second season ^^.
