Will there be a Darker than Back S3? I'm not talking bout the OVA's I seen those, I'm talking bout what happens after season 2? I feel as though it could have ended like it did but there's alotta questions that need to b answered. Like who is that little kid that popped out the coffin in the middle of the field at the Gate who took the American dudes souls or whatever? And what was wit that magician contractor dude who just showed up in front of July at the Gate for no reason and just disappeared? And what's gonna happen wit the U.S. forces invading Japan like that at the end? And did Hei really kill Yin or what, and did he get his powers back? I mean u can't leave my boi Hei like that, u feel me! Someone's got to kno if tere's gonna b a season 3, or at least explain this to me...

Give it some time.
If it does happen (which I really want it to) there would be an announcement late this year or sometime next year. Bones will be working on Towa no Kuon for some time, No. 6 is due next season, GOSICK is nearly over and they should be finishing off the FMA movie so Bones should have time for some new projects. I heard that Okamura didn't want to do another season, claiming that he was done with DtB but lately I've heard that he is interested in doing another season. Plus there were some questions that came up in the finale that will need to be answered
This is just speculation by the way and I can't find sources info about Okamura.

For what I understood Hei wished to be with Yin forever. Also WIkipedia (I don't believe it )
that the creater isn't planning on making another season.
But he can change his mind I hope he does to get answers !!!
For what Hei did to Yin he did not kill her he did the same thing he did in Heaven's Gate.Just to let you know Hei did get his powers back it took me time to see it but he did get it back since Sou took them away in the first place. Yin destroyed the meteor shard (which contained the powers also of Hei) Sou forgets what happened and Hei is back to normal a contractor.
From what I found, they are in the process of making season 4, but I have no clue how accurate that really is.

Of course they will make a season 3, like you guys said there was a lot of stuff unsaid/unmentioned.
One key factor you need to look for to see if another season will come out is unsaid/unmentioned events. Plus usually an anime goes at least over 50 episodes otherwise it is considered a saga.
If they do go into making season 3 I hope it is more like the first season than the second. Not that the second was bad or anything, but the first had a style, soundtrack, storyline and character development I've never seen before. Hopefully, like LMalbon said, it will go for at least 50 episodes.

Did you see at all the ova of the Darker than black thiers like 4 more that were extra. Yin and Hei were escaping and they were at a hotel.Then you can see the second season.Either way I am stillhoping for a season 3.
