Where to shop for cosplay

For halloween, I want to cosplay Stocking from Panty&Stocking w/Garterbelt. If I can, I'd like to do this for Otakon this year as well.

I've never done a full-out cosplay before, so I'm unfamiliar with the best places to shop. I need to find a wig for Stocking and some decent Lolita clothes. What are good/trustworthy websites to shop for cosplay?

The chinese ebayers I've worked with have all been wonderful, and the clothes were a perfect fit, but if you are uncomfortable with that, I would suggest Hello Cosplay, (with socks!) cosplayfu, but for in general, lightingthebox.com is good too.

Thank you. Hello Cosplay looks closest to my price range + quality. I'm gonna try to shop around more, but that is definitely on my list. Thank you so much.

I don't know if they have exactly what you looking for but I know that Cosplay Wigs USA and Lolita Charm are good sites to check. Also, http://shop.cosplay.com/wigs.html is worth checking.

Not bad with the links above! I know where I'll be shopping before the next con.

Jbox.com (SFW) and it's mother site Jlist.com (NSFW) have some stuff, but probably not anything in particular good for that character. Amazon, Ebay, and Etsy are always good though. I'll be keeping an eye on this topic though. I like the idea of cosplaying.

Hello folks, I am a man who wants to look like a small, innocent, adorable boy for cosplay. Any help? (Lolita fashion perhaps?)

I've shopped from the site Cosplay Sky and they were great. The shipping wasn't too bad, tailoring and standard over the holiday season took less than a month, and it was very well stitched (plus very pleasant customer support). They have low prices with great quality for everything I bought, but I can't say for sure because I've only gone there a few times for things.

Re: Where to shop for cosplay

I'll second Cosplayfu; I got a 10th Doctor cosplay from there for a con. As part of the order I asked for it to arrive in time for the con, even though the website said it probably wouldn't arrive in time, it did.

I'm thinking of getting the traditional Chinese clothing cosplay from the same website, but does anyone know where I could find some footwear to go with it?
