Tips to Cosplaying?

Hello Everyone!

I'm not new to cosplaying but I have a few questions to ask and maybe get and share some tips here about them too. If you have an tips share them here I would be honored to learn more.

__Questions__
-Where do you thinks the best place to get a cosplay costume online? Or by store?
-Any tips to how to cosplay......(insert name of charcter)?

__Tips__
I'm trying to get my costume to become Itachi for Anime Boston in MA in October so I was wondering if there was any preferance to Online or in store for getting costume. If any of you have Cosplayed Itachi have any of you any tips to being him?

Anime Corner Store is a good site for cosplay apparel, although I think diehard cosplayers usually try to make their own outfits.

Hmm, sounds like a good idea. I really must try to get a job lined up, and make some money. Otherwise I'll just be putting the cart before the horse.
