San-Diego Comicon 2011 News Round-Up Disscussion Thread.

Come here to talk about your thoughts on this years comicon, what your your favorite & least favorite panals, who did good who could have done better, what news made you as giddy as a school girl, what news mad u sad?

Anywho for news on Comicon you can go to the following sites

For Comics, TV & Toons go to www.newsarama.com

For Anime www.animenewsnetwork.com

and you may also wanna try CBR & TV.com.

As for me, I really enjoyed all of Marvels Panals. their animation panal was ecspecially interesting, looking foward to Avengers Season 2, Ultimate spiderman, and more X-men themed anime.

Also the upcoming 12 issue Fearless mini series looks fun. and the x-men relaunch er regenesis sounds like it'll be fun.

On the DC side, the new 52 panals were hit n miss for me, still kind of sad no real word on the DC chars missing in the relaunch ( I wants my JSA, Doom Patrol, BB & Raven dag nab it!) But yeah the DC supernatural Titles look interesting, deffinantly check those out.

On the Anime/Manga side, Glad Yen press got Durarara & Zombie, was kinda hoping they would get the Panty & Stocking manga as well...oh well, maybe next time.

as for games, YAY for Ghost rider being in the new ver of MVC3..BOO for lack of Megaman.

So yeah overall I would say Comicon was pretty tight this year, more good then bad IMPO. What are yours?

P.S. Also looking foward to all the Action shows or new seasons of action shows coming to CN this fall!

P.P.S. I hope someone sales that MLP:FIM Comicon poster on Amazon!

Only really cared about what Funimation had to say though it was nice to hear that Yen Press got Durarara and Zombie, hopefully Bacano! is on the way as well.

I actually do have one question though: was anything said about the world war z film adaption?

Re: San-Diego Comicon 2011 News Round-Up Disscussion Thread.

Only followed Comic-Con for anime, so my impressions are a bit limited.

Hard to say what panels I liked, since most of the live coverage wasn't around for SDCC.

Yen's license announcements didn't really do anything for me. I think news about the Gunslinger Girl volume 7-8 omnibus came out at Comic-Con, and that was relevant to my interests.

The announcement I got most excited about wasn't even from SDCC, but was Sentai's streaming plans for Croisee, Ro-Kyu-Bu! and Memo Pad.

Not much of a Comic-Con for those just interested in anime or manga, but Otakon next weekend, so I didn't expect much of anything.
