I just discovered this site, and subsequently Claymore (though I watched it via Hulu). It's one of the few action based MA rated anime that does not come across as over done and (ironically) cartoonish, to me. I do hope that the series continues. I almost wish I had not watched every episode in roughly two days (I kept telling myself I'd go to bed after one more episode..then the sun rudely came up and reminded me it was 7am and I had started watching at 3am...but I digress..) At any rate; this has an intriguing story line and the character development was well done--aka I actually was on edge and engaged in the what happened to the Claymore, etc. There's just too much good stuff to leave the series hanging (IMO ofc). Now, let us pray for a speedy road to Claymore 2 because I am experiencing withdrawals..
This show is one of the best anime's of all time. Who cares if it strayed from the manga a little bit, I have truly cried watching an anime and this show did that. TWICE! The show has such a huge fan base and the story is so beautifully drawn out that possibilities from the end of Season 1 are endless. Everyone involved would be fools to no continue this series, and I really hope they don't reboot it. It's called imagination, why is straying from the manga such a taboo. They did an amazing job regardless. Who wants to read and see the same shit twice. If it was shit I could understand but it is incredible. No anime has made me sign up just to go to the forums and rant about needed a second season. This show blew my mind. A revolt against the organization, the awakened being war, more details on the leaders of the organization, there are just so many things that can be delved into.
I know there was a petition that was out and it seemed to get enough votes though I'm not sure the details behind all that. If there must be another one, I would pass it on to as many people as I could. This show must go on.
