Well not exactly but what I’m trying to say is that sometimes at a con when cosplaying unexpected things can come up you may need to deal with or fix last minute. When this occurs who better to channel for inspiration and sage like advice than Richard Dean Anderson, a.k.a: MacGyver.

Looking over a sea of orange plastic cat ears, discount gashapon, and mouse pads with boobs on them it makes me think of one thing- America. And to celebrate America on President’s Day Weekend FUNimation was proud to wave the flag of fandom and quality DVDs at KatsuCon in the Washington DC area. I was sure to snag a badge for the President just in case he decided to stop by.

New York Comic Con was this weekend and like any good company having to do with comics, anime, or the selling of imported chibi Spider-man toys FUNimation was there. This was the 4th year for NYCC and attendance has more than tripled since its inception. The Exhibitor’s room was packed from first thing Friday to the closing minutes Sunday.
