The only one I can answer with confidence is that there aren't any earth embassies on Catia. So far it's just Kio's house that serves as the Catian Embassy to Japan. As of volume 14 of the novels, I don't think any of the other nations have actually gotten involved, except for the US, which occasionally gets mentioned as a sort of quasi-antagonist. They haven't been as hostile or active in the more recent volumes, though. I think the last big mention of them was volume 9 or 10.
A sequel would be nice, though I don't think this series was popular enough to get one. It's a lot of fun, and I enjoy it probably more than I should, but it is kind of "same-y" to a lot of other ecchi harem shows out there. I personally consider it a bit more refined, or at least not as trashy as, say, Ikki Tousen.
well when you look closely at the end of the OVA, it mentions a "next time". The creators are obviously implying that the series is not over. Although I agree. Had I not seen that last part, I surely would have thought that the whole series was going to end then and there.

Yes, but it says "Wish there was a next time on Cat Planet Cuties" Which could either imply there isn't a next season, or it's a title drop for the first episode of the next season. I hope it is just a title drop not an ending announcement. I love this anime and many others like it, sadly they get cancelled too often. Girls Bravo is a perfect example of an anime that deserves more than it got. I cried when that anime ended.
They have to make others, it would be hard to imagine why not. I mean look at it this way. Its rated TV-MA for starters so it gives them a virtually limitless work space, they could put anything, plus they left so many things out in the open which probably irritated a bunch of viewers.
I know I was one of those people, and on top of that its already VERY VERY POPULAR but what happens between Kio and the other girls?!!!! Do they end up sharing him or is something different worked out? What happens when Eris finally reaches her mating season she was so excited about? What happens with the Dogishians cause apparently they are still on earth?
There are just SOOOOOOOO many things they could do, and on top of it all if they continue it would keep people interested longer and I'm willing to bet the longer people cling to the anime the more willing they would be to buy merchandise. So that's nothing but a money making opportunity for them. DOES ANYONE AGREE WITH ME?!?!?!?!?!?!!!!!!
Look at the part in episode 12 when the dog ship is going up in flames close up. It shows something destinctively shooting off into the distance. That looks like it's flying on its own. Someone survived the ship.

only reason they might not make a season two is that I don't think the manga did very well, although I do love this anime.
