and it never shows him going back, so they could do that in season 2, if there is going to be one. but there are so many ways they could go on, plus they also showed in one episode a character from kampfer, so i don't know if they want to tie in that anime also.
Whatever they decide, i hope they decide to do a second season, and end it as well as fullmetal alchemist brotherhood did, where they showed like how the life eventually played out.
I didn’t find out about this show till recently and I loved it. I love shows with lots of fan service. They really need to make a season 2. It left off with a feeling like it just began somehow. If they do not make a sequel then i will be very sad
I really enjoyed this series and I really hope that it is continued. I like the male lead (Kio), he's a genuinely nice guy that I can empathize. Also for a harem type ecchi they kept the size down so the girl's can have some character development… plus (from a fan-service point of view) Kio's harem are not all cooky cutter beauties; they each have their particular charms!
I suppose I should have some constructive critique, and it is simply this. The cat and dog girls and guy have both animal ears and human ears. I could exclaim "what's up with that," but I would be satisfied with some reason other than a cute set of animal ears grafted to the top of their heads even if it was just demonstrated. The prehensile tail doesn't even bother me because it has some apparent use… Oh well these are just minor grumbling.
Anyway the story has so many interesting strings that need to pulling and exploring.
Do the Catlians get their Japanese embassy?
Do the other world governments start to come around?
There are at least two factions on the cat planet, are there more?
Some weak cosmic governance was mentioned when talking about the dogs, but they seem very weak and a bit authoritarian (kind of like the EU). How are they organized? Are they ever going to intervene?
Are their any other alien races out their and are they all anthropomorphic?
We learned snippets of the Catlian culture such as seasonal breeding madness, polygamy (of sorts), matriarchal social structure (at least on star ships), slave guilt associated with full size humanoid helper-bots, etc.
This is not a comprehensive list, most certainly, but the first 6 flavors in a Baskin-Robbins of things to explore in Asobi ni iku yo!
If the powers-that-be are reading this, then… Please Make More!
