i know its too soon to think about another season but the ending to the OVA implies they are not continueing the series, do you guys think they will keep it up?

I just finished watching this myself...
This was really tooo good to just be one season.
Sad to see that it has ended soooo sooo soon. But really why would they imply in the last episode (12) that they're other monsters out there and fill it in with "i think this planet is going to get crowded." To me that is a really big let down, this could go further then they have it now. Just reminds me of how FLCL came by and ended with a hole in the story. But thats anime right? they always get us going and let us down.
And Kio should chooce a girl. The christmas gift also could be a lead into more. Also in the commentary video for episode one a question is asked and he says season one (as if there is a season two) idk... hoping for more.
And they didn't talk about Kio's mom and dad. I think they can make a season 2 and have lots to talk about! We all want more
Its to soon to tell, but i believe that their probably going to end up doing what they did with Sekirei or Queens Blade and not really make it a season 2, but change the name to be like a season 2/new series.
From what i know about anime sequel. It can take up to 3 year to make it.
the manage is the biggest hit for a sequel.

soooooooo yeah i agree that there should be a season 2 made. i mean...if an anime like Heaven's Lost Property--which i'm also a fan of--got a second season, and didn't have half the coherency of Cat Planet Cuties as far as storyline, there shouldn't be a reason they can't make a s2 for it.

Better Action Sequences
Better Animation
More Diversity
More Intense
While they are both comedies, I can see why Heaven's Lost Property would be more fun to create or purchase.
